Description
That feels when you are a fan from a certain group or an idol but never have a chance to meet them in real person. Same with Choi Youngjae (19) a boy from Mokpo, so far from Seoul and a big fan from Im Jaebum, a singer and idol from G.O.T (Im Jaebum, Mark Tuan, Jackson Wang)
Foreword
Im Jaebum:
Hello! How was your day?
Youngjae smiled as he read the text from Im Jaebum, he texted him back immediately
Me:
Good! How about you?
Im Jaebum:
Today was so hot T_T
Me:
Summer is hot~! I don’t like it. And I hate cold
Im Jaebum:
Don’t be sick~ Wear your jacket
Youngjae frowned. He always texted nonsense like that.
Me:
It’s summer for god sake
Im Jaebum:
Let’s buy ice creams!
Me:
I hate you
Im Jaebum:
I like Mark hyung~♥
“Fine! I hate you Im Jaebum!!!” he yelled and closed his phone. Texting with robot is not fun but become his favorite during school break or before bed time.
Texting with robot doesn’t mean that he has nobody, but because he doesn’t get a chance to meet his idol. Yeah, he is using today popular application named Biased. Application that makes you feel like you are dating your favorite idol. Because the application is not running by the idol, so as the text goes by it becomes nonsense. Youngjae felt so desperate and wanted to delete his application from his phone. But he doesn’t want to.
“Hyung, still chatting with your Jaebum?” someone from behind shocked him. He turned his head and saw a tall figure at his back, came close to him. “Oh... yes...” answered him softly.
“Why don’t you go to Seoul and meet him? I think that would be worth it.”
“SAT is only five days and I should study more. Beside, my mom doesn’t let me go until I get an university.” Youngjae lowered his head. He really wants to meet his idol, Im Jaebum, a singer and a member of G.O.T. But he lived in a city that far from Seoul. His dad was fisherman and his mom was a fish seller at fish market. Because of that, he felt so hesitant for uttering his wants. He thought that he should study hard so he could go to Seoul and continue his education there.
The summer breeze brushed off their hair. They remained in silent as the sound of wave from the sea hit their ears. “Do you think I can get it, Yugyeom-ah?” Youngjae muttered those words in silence. Kim Yugyeom smiled and patted his back. Youngjae really knew what that pat meant for. He gave him spirit for dream. A dream that he can grab. And somewhat it cheers him up.
Youngjae opened his phone and open that ridiculous application. He sighed deeply.
Me:
Im Jaebum... I will meet you someday.... just see....
