Leave It to Me

Description

Mirae Lee (OC)

Mirae is a university student who can see the future, but only the imminent future. She gets no clues or direction; she just knows that whatever happens in her dreams eventually become reality at some point in her life. Ever since her father passed away, she's been trying to uncover the truth behind his death. Using her dreams to her advantage, she maneuvers around the obstacles in her life in order to get what she wants and achieve her goals. Of course, nothing goes by smoothly when you're trying to hide a superpower.

V / Kim Taehyung

Taehyung loved to sing and dance, but hated that he couldn’t do what he loved at university. The classes were too structured, there was too much studying to do, and worst of all, he had no time to practice his singing and dancing. Ever since a strange girl in his class told him to keep practicing, and that he would succeed soon, his curiosity couldn’t keep him still. Pestering her to tell more, he becomes caught up in a mystery that changes his life forever.

J-hope / Jung Hoseok

As a professor at the same university that Mirae and Taehyung attend, Jung Hoseok is a kind and caring professor who loves to develop close relationships with his students. He wants them to think of him as a friend that they can laugh and talk with, rather than a strict, cold professor. Mirae’s unusual iciness to her voice and her distant personality attract Hoseok, because he is determined to crack the iceberg and bring out her true warm personality. He later finds out that endless comical dancing and funny faces won’t do the trick.

Foreword

There was no reason. There was absolutely no reason for my father to hang himself.

Disregarding what authorities told her, Mirae Lee was determined to find the true culprit behind her father’s death. Mystery clouded the whole investigation, and she couldn’t understand why the detectives and investigators, and even the police, were acting like it wasn’t a big deal.

“What do you mean it’s over?!?!? We haven’t even uncovered the murderer yet!!” Mirae screamed.

“Calm down, honey. Accept it. Accept the fact that it was a suicide. It was reported as a suicide and it will remain like that on our records.” The investigators sighed and rolled their necks. Mirae screamed and fell to the floor, tears dripping down her cheeks. Suddenly, she looked up and glared at the investigators.

“Just you wait. I’ll bring the true murderer to your own eyes.” Mirae spit out softly as she glared right through their souls.

I know that you’re lying. I know that something’s up but you’re not telling me. I know it’s not a simple case of suicide.

She knew, because she could see the future.

“One of your friends will help you in your journey. One will become your worst enemy.”

Still in the process of planning the plot and the general setting. I'm really trying hard to avoid typical plotholes and cliche situations. Any kind of interest is very helpful and motivating! If you are interested in reading the story, please subscribe! Thank you!

Comments and criticism are welcome too. I'm a fairly new BTS fan, but they're so adorable ahhh.
