His eyes glistened with amusement and shock as he stared at me like I had grown another head.
I offered him the deadliest glare I could manage with my eyes swelled up and puffy.
"My dear, you look like a kitten." He paused to chuckle for a moment before sighing. He said, "my, my. Kitten, let's get you somewhere to stay for the night."
