Description

Chanyeol was born with a golden spoon in his mouth rather than an iron chain around his neck. He was a human, not a Halfling. He was everything Kyungsoo was not and the hybrid resented him a little for it. Surely their respective life circumstances were not the boy's fault, but they were also not Kyungsoo's. Really, it was nobody's fault but God's. What a joker, this almighty but invisible God; what a farce of a game he was playing with their lives.

Ok wow.... Reading this gave me so much hope omfg like right after chanyeols last line there was an undeniable hopeful feeling that blossomed within me omf hopefully this is how ksoo felt as well
This is a terrible au kyungsoo doesnt deserve what he went through :( i love him i didnt want anything worse to happen to him he deserves the world. Same goes for other halflings in this universe too i cant bear the thought of so many of them suffering alone
But to think that chanyeol has put in the initiative.. Theres one less suffering halfling in that world because of him
I love how it was mentioned that kyungsoo never let himself be bought or adopted and how there have been others to try but only out of lust or greed. Because here we see why chanyeol is different and why his impact is enough to make kyungsoo trust him. He's sincere and genuine and caring and he only wants to make kyungsoo happy the way he deserves to be
And now kyungsoo is home, with chanyeol who will love him so diligently.... Aahhh

Rather than dark i find this story is very cute, i like how kyungsoo gradually accept chanyeol's stuborness(as always) and developed his own feeling to him, it's really easy to picture him doing exactly like what you've write here :D
