Dream melody
While waiting for the time past, i cant help myself but to glimpes at jiyeon who have her head down and seem to be lost in her own thoughts.
*i wonder what's bothering her right now*
i want to know the reason why she agreed to my offer, why she's always sad but have a cold expression.. i want to ask her a
lots of things but a part of me says 'DONT! she needs time'

when the bell rang, i pick up my things and calls jiyeon's name twice. but she didn't budge
"park ji yeon!!" i repeated.
finally! she turn to look at me now
"hmm?" she ask clueless.
"its break time already, you should eat. we'll practice after school,ok?".
she just nod while fixing her things. the atmosphere is kinda weird.
"i'll go ahead!" i waved then left.

"what's going on?" i ask my self after seeing the cafeteria overloaded by students and most of them are GIRLS!
its pretty hard to make this cafeteria so full. due to curiousity, i started scanning the whole place until i think i spotted the main source. on the Counter!
the girls are talking to someone that is obviously a boy. Then i found out that he is the one in charge of taking down the students order. i cant see his face 'cause he is listing down orders.
im surprise that even when this is a popular private school. when a cute nor handsome guy appeared, they'll go wild.. like what im seeing right now.
but i dont think their way is apropriate, they are making a lot of orders to keep him busy listing so that they can stare at his face for a quite long time and even flirt with him!
do they have no mercy? that poor boy is already having a hard time listing with his head bowed.. Aigoo~ its aweful to think that he will have a stip neck in such a young age..tsk tsk!
but wait! he looks very familiar to me. his hair, height and actions are telling me that he is... don't tell me...is that even possible?
"Jaejin!! you're not done yet?"
a voice confirmed all my thoughts. when i look at him again, he finally have is head up. *no way..*
"YA! COUNTER BOY!"
i yelled to call his attention and it worked! his eyes finally met mine.
he look shock. what is there to be shock? he already know that i study here, right? he's weird as ever
=Jaejin POV=
"YA! COUNTER BOY!"
mwo? [what?] did i hear it wrong? that voice was somehow so familiar. to end my confusion, i search for the owner of the voice until my eyes met his. seeing him here gave me a little shock, i actually plan to surprise him in his classroom.
but that shock immediately disappear as it was been replaced by excited to tell him the good news!
"MINHWAN! take my place for a minute"
i said and he nod
"whatever you need to do.. please make it fast, ok?"
he said before taking my place at the counter.
i said sure and went to talk to hyung who was waiting for me with a crossed arms.
we sat in one of the canteen table
"so, would you mind telling me why you're here? my little brother"
he began asking
"OF COURSE!"
i answered hyperly leaving him confused of my behavior
"ok here it goes...."
*Flashback*
"YA! sleepy head wake up! im going to school now. i prepared your breakfast in th table, better eat it before it gets cold"
i heard hongki hyung's loud voice
"arrrhh, your going to school this early?"
i asked him in a hoarse voice
"yeah, i have something to do. besides, its better to be early than to be late! so you must
get up and prepare for school later LION-Jin"
"arrh, and what is that suppose to mean?"
"what?"
*oh my! here he goes again, acting all dumb after spitting nonsense*
"the LION-Jin duh!"
"ohhh, that? hmmm....."
i patiently wait for his answer

".............."
still waiting
".........."
*AISH!*
"YA HYUNG!! are you going to answer or -"
he cut me off before i could finish my words
"no"
"what?"
"your going to ask me if i would answer or not so i respond a no"
he explained with a naughty smirk
"AISH fine ! willi figure that out myself.. you can go now, shooo~"
"ok then, kalke!" [i'll be going]
he wave at me while jumping up and down
*seriously, i wonder what makes him that hyper and excited today.. its kind of... weird?*
@SCHOOL
"good morning sir, may i know why did you call for me?"
i asked politely to the principal
"yeah. since you are hongki's brother, we supervise your studies a week ago and found out that your knowledge is not far from your older brother so we decided to choose you for the offer since we know that you will never give this school a shame"
our school principal explained.
his words makes me feel so excited! i want to know what offer is that, i wish its the same as what hyung have
"really sir? thank you for thinking that way. but may i know what is that offer sir?"
"its kinda similar to what your hyung's got"
*to what my hyung got? seriously? YES!*
shock hits me for a while but suddenly overwhelmed by mix joy and excitement causing me to be speechless
"the only different is that you need to work at the cafeteria to earn money for your projects because we cant support you that much. is ok for you?"
*work? hmmm.. much better than staying at home alone and being bored to death*
i nodded to the principal with a satisfied smile on my face
"i'll be glad to accept it mr. principal"
*end of flashbacks*
"and that's what happened!"
i proudly exclaimed and wait for his reaction
"ohh~ so that's what happened, i get it now but.. why do you have to include the waking up part ?!"
he ask in a VERY childish angry tone he can have
"just because"
i answered and he formed an X through his arms
"INVALID REASON, PLEASE TRY AGAIN"
i slap his X arm and pretend to be angry
"Yah! i thought you'll be proud but you're teasing me now? such a meanie! pfft"
he chuckled and patted my head
"you know im just joking, of course im so proud of you my one and only brother . i knew you can do it !"
and before our brotherly moment takes us any further, a voice suddenly appeard out of nowhere
"JAEJIN! A LITTLE HELP HERE PLEASE~"
yup.
that's minhwan who's having a hard time on the counter right now
"hyung, i need to go back to work now"
i stood up and ready to walk away but hyung held my wrist
"i'll help"
he said
"seriously? but you haven't eaten yet"
i look at him worriedly and he smiled
"i can always eat later"
"COOL ! lets go!"
..
we hurriedly went to the counter
"sorry for the wait minari"
i apologized and started working again
"its ok"
he answered while passing the orders to me

i offered to help jaejin on his work which is listing the costumers order
*i cant believe that the poor boy that im talking about earlier is no other than my younger brother ! aigoo~ i obviously need to help him*
i started listing their orders and gave it to jaejin friend after.
i've been like that for 20 minutes until....
"lost boy?"
a girl voice ask. i lift up my head knowing who that was
"oh? jiyeon. havent eaten yet? let me list your order then"
i said and she chuckled
*did i say something funny?*
"last time you are just a lost boy but now... you evolve into a .. counter boy ?! hahahaha"
she teased and i heard the laugher of the students in the line
"YOU! im your teacher now so give respect !"
"im your suggester so were even"
she replied and stick out her tongue
"whatever! so are you going to order or not?"
i asked impolite
"is that how you treat your costumers? so unpleasant!"
she commented. i rolled my eyes and sigh
"ok ok. now, may i take your order ma'am?"
i asked formaly with a fake yet mocking smile
"that better. ok then, tell them to get my reserved food"
i nodded my head unsurely and head to the kitchen, asking if there's any reserved food for park jiyeon and to my surprise.. there is !
i was a bit taken aback after seing her foods.... its A LOT !
i head back to the kitchen to give her the food
"here ! you sure you can finished all that or you just want to eat with me?"
i joked
"chi. as if ! i always eat like this"
she said.
im a bit surprised to what she said causing me to scan her body
"if so, then why you're not chubby ?"
i asked
"find out for yourself !"
after saying that, she left.
*that girl is so complicated to talk to ! tsk tsk*
"who's that hyung ?"
jaejin asked in a low voice.
i smirk
"its a secret "
