No, I'm Not Jealous

Jiyong woke up with a smile on his face. Knowing that today is the day for the shooting of their new music video, he couldn't help but get in a good mood. He was pumped-up---full of enthusiasm. Their fans waited for them for so long, the least he could do is try his best to make their comeback an awesome experience for everyone. He rushed to the studio with fire in his eyes, brain full of new ideas. He was doing well---making an effort to give out fresh proposals to the director. He was on a roll. Was.

After witnessing the intense exchange of touches between the two silver-heads before his eyes, Jiyong's mood went the opposite. From raging with enthusiasm, he's now raging with anger. He gritted his teeth as he watched Seungri gently caress the woman's waist, with his face leaning so close onto her chest. Jiyong could feel his blood boiling, rising from jealousy. And when he thought he couldn't get more furious, the director shouted and demanded the woman to touch Seungri's face.

Jiyong's eye twitched. He heard something snap inside him. He clenched his fists as he continues to watch the woman lay her dirty hands on his most prized possession. Any longer than this, then he wouldn't be able to know if he could control himself anymore. It's as if he'll explode any moment. But given the situation, there's nothing he could do. After all, this is their first music video since their three-year hiatus. He couldn't afford to ruin it just because of his emotions. He couldn't afford to ruin it because of their fans.

Trying to calm himself down, Jiyong closed his eyes. He counted to three as he takes a deep breathe in every second. Usually, just three seconds is enough for him. But as he opens his eyes, he found himself still shaken-up with his emotions. He then closes his eyes again. This time, he counts one to ten just to make sure.

Calm down, Jiyong. Keep your cool.

For the last time, Jiyong takes a deep breathe. He opens his eyes, smiling.

"Works everytime," he said to himself.

"What works everytime?" a voice uttered behind him.

Surprised, Jiyong jumps from his seat. He turns around with his eyebrow furrowed. "What the hell, Youngbae?!"

"Oopps. Sorry to surprise you, but you look like you're in a daze for a while now." Yongbae chuckles. "You okay?"

Jiyong pauses. He stared at him, thinking whether he should answer or not.

"What's wrong?" he asked, raising an eyebrow.

Jiyong lets out a sigh. He looks back at Seungri again. "Look at that guy."

"Huh? Who?" He looks to where Jiyong was looking and saw Seungri, laughing while talking to the silver-haired woman. "Ah, Seungri. Why? What's wrong with him?"

"Look at him. Having the time of his life with that annoying smile on his face. The hell is he doing not working? Why's he casually chatting with her? Doesn't he know we're short on time?"

Yongbae chuckles. "There you go again. You need to stop that."

Jiyong turns to face him and looks at him with cold eyes. "Stop what?"

"That. You and your 'Seungri Complex'." he said, smiling mockingly.

"The hell are you talking about?"

"It's okay. Everybody knows it. You're jealous, right?" he said in a teasing manner.

A faint blush slowly tinted Jiyong's cheeks. He could feel it but didn't want to make it obvious. "No, I'm not jealous. I don't know what you're talking about," he said with his eyebrows furrowed, acting pissed-off.

Yongbae bursts out laughing. "What's up with you? Are you a high-school girl?"

Jiyong felt even more embarrassed. He stood up and lightly pushed Yongbae's shoulder. "Shut up."

"Like I said, it's okay, Ji." he said, still laughing. "We all know you're really attached to him. It's understandable. You don't want anyone to get close to him except you. You two like each other too much."

"Right, right," he agrees just to end the embarrassing conversation. He turns his back on him and walks away.

"Oh. Where you going?" he shouted loud enough for Jiyong to hear.

Jiyong didn't answer and continued to walk. Before heading for the exit door, he glances one more time at Seungri. There he is, still with his flirty eyes, chatting and laughing with the woman. Seungri's eyes were screaming joy as his arm get touched by her in a "friendly" way. The woman, on the other hand, is also obviously enjoying it. Jiyong almost kicked open the door in anger. If it wasn't for the many people surrounding him, he would've destroyed anything that's in front of him.

He knew that closing his eyes and counting one to ten will do him nothing. He's too infuriated for it work. Since this one is for real, rather than an interaction needed for the music video, Jiyong's close to breaking someone's neck off. He exited the door and slid his hand into his pocket. He took out a stick of cigarette and a lighter. He didn't even bother to look around him before lighting it up. He doesn't care if people see him anymore. He just wants to smoke to calm himself down.

His hands were shaking, making it hard to light up the cigarette.

"Damn it. Work!" he said as he continues press on the lighter. "!"

The lighter not working added more to his frustration. He throws it on the ground with great force, making it bounce and eventually breaking.

"That damn flirt!" he shouted.

Jiyong leaned on the wall and rested his body on it. He scratched his head aggressively, making it sting from too much force. Before he could shout some more, he got stopped from the squeaking sound of the door hinge. He turns to look at it, and much to his surprise, a striking, silver hair showed up before his eyes. His heart skipped a beat upon seeing him. He panicked---he doesn't want Seungri to see him furious and flustered-up like this.

"Hyuuunggg~~" said Seungri in his usual sweet and gentle voice.

Jiyong's heart immediately melts. Nothing could soothe him down like Seungri's angel-like voice. But he fights it off. He can't just ignore the fact that he flirted with that woman. He slicks his hair back and fixes his collar. He clears his throat as he prepares to speak.

"..What's up?" he said, calmly.

Seungri puts his hands in his pockets as he walks towards him. "Nothing much. Saw you come out here. You okay?" he asks while his eyes wandered around the place.

"Of course." He smiles. "Just want to have some fresh air."

"Ah, I see. Fresh air. But can you get fresh air from that?" he points his eyes towards the cigarette and lighter on the ground.

Jiyong glances at it and lets out a sigh. "Look, I was just stressed out from the shooting. I've really quit."

"Mhhmm?" he said with his eyebrows raised and his hands folded onto his chest. "If you have really quit, then you wouldn't smoke even just one stick."

Jiyong looks at him with annoyed eyes. "Can't you see I didn't smoke it? I threw it on the ground. It wasn't even lighted-up."

"Oh. Why? Why'd you throw it? Was there a problem?" he asks with worried eyes.

"None of your business. I didn't stick my nose in your business when you were flirting instead of working. So in return, just let me be, okay?" he said as he walks away.

"..H-Hyung!" he shouted.

Jiyong ignored Seungri and heads back to the set. But as he opens the door, he got stopped by a tight grip on his arm. He turns around saw Seungri looking at him with pleading eyes, begging for him. It's as if Jiyong's heart melted once again. No matter what the circumstance is, he's weak when it comes to him. He's weak towards his sweet voice, his pleading eyes, his everything. There's nothing he could do about it. And Jiyong hated himself for that.

"Hyung, I'm sorry," he said, looking straight into his eyes. "I'm sorry for not working hard. I'm sorry for sticking my nose in your business. I'm sorry I made you upset."

Jiyong lets out a deep sigh. "..No, no. You don't have to be. I was just.. I was stressed out. I took it out on you. I'm sorry." he said, looking on the ground, avoiding his eyes.

Seungri nods and smiles. "I'm here by your side. We can do this. You don't have to stress over it. Let's face it together, okay?"

Jiyong smiles. "Right."

Jiyong chugged down his 7th glass of beer as he stares at Seungri, who's across his side of the table. Yongbae, who's beside him on his right, keeps telling him off to slow it down, but eventually gave up since he refuses to listen. It was, after all, their celebration dinner for their first day of shooting. People are supposed to drink in this kind of event. But Jiyong didn't drink because he wanted to celebrate. He drank because he was once again upset. He, too, was tired of being upset. But he couldn't help it. Seungri just always finds a way to make him so.

He now regretted why he ever agreed to Yongbae's suggestion to bring the girls with them. He was naive for thinking Seungri won't do it again because of what happened earlier. It's as if he didn't mean his apology. He's now once again on flirt mode with the same woman he was talking to earlier. For that, Jiyong felt betrayed.

"You okay?" Yongbae asks as he nudges his arm.

Tipsy, Jiyong was a little slow to answer. "..Of course. I'm awesome."

"You seem drunk already, though. Are you sure you're alright?"

"Of course. I'm sure."

"Uh.. You've been putting on crazy eyes for a while now." Yongbae chuckles. "And you're obviously upset over Seungri again. Are you really sure you're okay? You're not gonna attack him or anything, right?"

Knowing that denying it is useless, Jiyong breaks down. "That damn er. Can't he just for a second not flirt with a woman? Does his life depends on it? Look at him. Have he no respect for me at all? After he apologizes to me, he does it again. Is he doing this on purpose?"

"Woah, woah, woah. Calm down, Ji. I think you're really drunk. Should I take you home now?"

"No, no. I can't just leave this guy alone with this woman. I'm warning you; don't you dare stop me or insist to take me home," he said in a hostile manner.

Yongbae raises both his palms in front of Jiyong, admitting defeat. "Alright. You're the boss."

Jiyong then reached for his 8th glass of beer. He glances over at Seungri's side and saw that they're still at it. He chugs down his beer as he continues to stare them down with his raging eyes. He puts down his glass with some force, getting the attention of those near him, including Seungri.

"Hey, Seungri," he said loud enough for people to hear.

"..Hyung?" he answers, confused.

"Do that thing." he said, smiling from ear to ear.

"Uh, what 'thing'?"

"You know, that thing you always do at shows. Imitating Mr. Yang."

Seungri chuckles. "Oh. That."

"Do it. Show it to everyone here."

"Of course! No problem!" he said as he stands up with confidence.

Everyone clapped in anticipation. They watched with a smile on their face as Seungri prepares to imitate their CEO. On the other hand, Yongbae stared at Jiyong suspiciously. He observed him. He knew he was up to something.

"Alright, prepare to be amazed, everyone," he said, smiling smugly. "First, you need to relax like you have everything in this world."

Laughter could already be heard as he positioned himself into a laid-back manner. He sat on the chair with his feet on the table, acting arrogantly. He then began to speak with a lisp, similar to that of Mr. Yang's.

"Seungri, what should I do? I'm too rich."

Everyone bursts out laughing from Seungri's exact imitation. No one could do it better than him. And everyone, including himself, knows it. Seeing the reactions, Seungri's ego once again boosts up. He smiles in satisfaction.

"Seungri, do it again," demanded Jiyong, who didn't laugh but just stared at him during his act.

Seungri smiles. "No problem!"

Without a hint of hesitation, he got into character and said the same thing. This time, the laughter slightly decreases. But still, Seungri's once again satisfied with the result.

"Do it. Again," Jiyong demands, smiling in a cold manner.

Seungri pauses. He stared at Jiyong, who seemed a little drunk and not his usual self. But although slightly hesitant, he still agreed to do it again.

He chuckles. "Hyung really likes my imitations. Alright. I'll do it one more time."

For the last time, Seungri does it again. Jiyong smiles. He watched as Seungri makes a fool of himself.

"Seungri would do anything for me. Even embarrassing himself. He's like my own personal robot, right?" he said, blatantly.

Seungri didn't know how to react. He stood there, frozen and unable to utter a word.

"You guys saw him follow my demands like a mindless robot?" He chuckles. "He's like that towards me."

Whispering could be heard anywhere, and Seungri wanted to save the situation by covering it up with his pretend-agreement to it.

He laughs. "Right, right. Jiyong's my Hyung. My leader. Of course I love to follow him."

Yongbae nudges Jiyong's arm. "Hey. What's wrong with you? Stop that."

"Shut up. I told you not to interfere," he said lowering his tone a bit for people not to hear.

"What the hell, Ji? Are you out of your mind? Why are you doing this to him?" he asks, angered.

Jiyong ignored Yongbae and continues to tease Seungri.

"Hey, guys. You like Seungri's new hair? Matches him pretty well, huh?"

"Oh." He laughs nervously. "Thanks, Hyung," he said, trying to ride with it.

"You know why he bleached his hair blonde?" He looked around him, smiling deviously. "No, it's not because Mr. Yang wanted him to do so."

"Ji," Yongbae holds his shoulder. "Stop it."

"It's because he felt the need to be noticed," he said, ignoring Yongbae. "He feels inferior, so he did something to stand out. Cute, right? But it suits him pretty damn well. In fact, too well, he's now flowing out with confidence more than ever."

Seungri couldn't believe what he just heard. It's as if his ears were deceiving him. Hearing those hurtful words, he's in a distress. But he didn't want to show it, so he kept on smiling, acting as if it's just a mere joke Jiyong's making to lighten up the mood.

"Look at him flirt with women like a damn gigolo. I guess he's at an advantage with his hair, right? Since it made him even more attractive."

The people were torn up thinking whether Jiyong is serious, or just teasing him. They could tell Seungri was uncomfortable and awkward with it. But on the other hand, they knew the love-hate relationship between them, so it could be that Jiyong's only being playful. Eventually, Seungri excuses himself and heads to the restroom. Leaving Jiyong guilty and regretful.

He lets out a sigh.

Damn it. The hell did I just do?

Jiyong quickly gets up to follow him. He heads for the restroom to where Seungri said he would be. Luckily, as Jiyong opens the door, Seungri's there. He walks up to him, hesitant to speak. As he gets nearer, tears started to show on the silver-haired man's cheeks. Seeing the painful sight, Jiyong couldn't help but despise himself for causing it to happen. It's like his world crumbled upon seeing him like that. Jiyong always wants him to be happy and never sorrowful.

"..Seungri.." he said, leaning closer towards him. "Please.. Don't cry.. I'm sorry."

Seungri continues to sob like a child. "..Hyung, why did you do that..?"

Jiyong wanted to beat himself up. Seungri's broken because of him. Him, of all people.

"Ri.. I.. I'm sorry.." he said, wiping the tears on Seungri's face. "I didn't mean it. I was.. jealous."

Seungri momentarily stops crying. He lifts his head up to face him. "..You're what?"

Jiyong pauses before speaking. A faint blush tinted his cheeks. "I.. I said I was jealous."

Seungri's eyes widens. Blood rushed to his cheeks. "W-What does that mean?!"

Jiyong rolls his eyes. He takes a deep breathe before speaking. "..What else?"

"I.. I can't believe this.. You're in love with me, too?!"

Jiyong raises an eyebrow. "..'too'? So that means it's mutual?"

Seungri stares at him, flustered-up. He couldn't manage to spit out a single word.

"Okay, then." Jiyong nods. "Shall we kiss, then?"

"K-Kiss?!" he shouted with a bright-red face.

Jiyong bursts out laughing. "Yes. Stay still, okay?"

Seungri nods. He stood still and closes his eyes tightly. Jiyong leans in closer to him, smiling cheekily. He giggles at the sight, finding Seungri incredidbly adorable for acting like that.

He then presses his lips against him.
