“No matter how many times I look at this damn map I keep getting confused with the classrooms. Why is there a hallway there. why would you decide to put a door here that doesn’t lead into the next classroom in numerical order? why would it suddenly jump from class 110 to 115?? Why is there even a path here, there’s nothing here!” Incensed, Yoongi crumbled the sheet of paper tightly in his fists. He could deal with waking up early for school, that wasn’t the problem. The problem was every. damn. morning. he never remembered what class was scheduled for the day much less where it was located. It was hard not to burst out laughing in the now empty hallway as he thought about how much his navigational skills truly .

10 minutes had passed after the ‘you’re ed, don’t even go to class’ bell rang signaling any student now entering their classrooms were considered late and marked. Yoongi didn’t curse for the most part but today was an extremely off day for him and he couldn’t have been more emotionally disturbed then.

Finally arriving outside a familiar classroom he made a mental note to vent his thoughts on the school system.

CLICK!- the door opening sounded loud in the quiet class, inviting the few bodies in the large room to look in its general direction.

Yoongi bit his inner bottom lip after moving his eyes away from the doorknob, still holding onto it, no doubt noticing someone in the usually empty seat. The spot closest to the door was his seat and he never had to talk to anyone because of it. Not today though.

Crap.

Losing his precious place had no effect on Min Yoongi. No. It was not the fact that now he would be forced to make eye contact with other people whom he did not want to associate with (it’s just who he is.) It wasn’t the fact that an argument could be had on how handsome the guy now sitting in it was. Or how the guy’s light ash brown hair fit perfectly with his face and complimented his slightly feminine features, fringe passing his also dyed eyebrows. It wasn’t even the strong eye contact they were now sharing. Definitely could not have been how firm and wide his shoulders looked in that white shirt that was supposed to fit the students who wore it ugly and not flattering by any means which obviously was not the case. It almost looked fitted- the way his sleeves were rolled up in a slightly messy yet still classy style just below his elbows were most definitely unsettling he’d have to admit.

“Yes?” a voice sounded on the far right.

It was the ing fact that he had confused the same classroom for his again and the guy across him was now smiling at his reoccurring mistake. It only served to get on his nerves.

“Can I help you?”

The only thing Yoongi could do was shyly smile and apologize; the teacher wasn’t the cause of his annoyance.

“I’m sorry, I seem to have mistaken classrooms again..”

The teacher cackled, “Normally I would be mad since this has been the third time already but you look like such a sad puppy when you make that face honestly it’s so cute!”

cute?….he…isn’t serious...

Suddenly the guy who had been staring into him a while ago bursted with a, “Ah~ that’s what it was! I couldn’t find a way to describe you then but now that the teacher says it I agree, you’re definitely cute,” He raised his hand and proceeded to ask his teacher “Sir, judging by looks this guy couldn’t get to the bathroom if it was in his bedroom, I think it would be right for me as his hyung to show him around school for today.”

“Although he’s not from this class I do agree with you Seokjin, go ahead”

Seokjin. the way that name felt as he whispered it made Yoongi feel weird.

As Jin exited and lead Yoongi down the hall towards his class he finally spoke, no longer able to hang on to silence. 

“My name is Kim Seokjin, Most people call me Jin. You can just refer to me as Hyung. What’s yours?”

Even though he didn’t think they would speak to each other again Yoongi answered, “My name is Min Yoongi” and for the third time that day Jin made him feel a funny way as he giggled at his name’s revealing.

“What is it?”

“Nothing it’s just… How could your name be so…” He couldn’t finish his sentence as he laughed brightly.

“I’m not sure if you’re making fun of my name but that’s my name and I can’t change it.”

“No how could you think that?”

Just then something caught Jin’s eye. “There is your classroom Yoongi”

He started walking the way Jin had pointed his fingers, “Thank you for your help.” Then, just to poke around at him he paused his stride and asked, “Why do I have to call you Hyung?”

“Punk, i’m obviously your Hyung no matter how you look at it,” Jin called out. He was right, but Yoongi was feeling a bit mischievous.

“You may be a princess but I could be older than you too~”

Jin raised his eyebrows and puffed, “Really…” He got closer to Yoongi and using his middle and index finger, lifted some of the light golden brown hair on his forehead held in place by a beanie. Perplexed by the sudden proximity, Yoongi couldn’t help but remain silent, all thoughts in the wind without a spoken word.

“Let us say you are older…” Jin began, “ even then call me Hyung” he spoke gently with a soft smile. Somehow, Yoongi felt that smile was dangerous. Jin retracted his hand from the Younger’s face, first lightly dragging his fingers on his temple and then gliding them down along his jawline. The brazen act sent goosebumps all over Yoongi’s body.

“Your skin is as soft as it looks but more sensitive than I thought”

Wtf. That would make anyone turn cherry red! The palpable need to say some sort of retort to Jin yet unable to for the words had decided to tie themselves in a knot with his tongue caused the ‘princess’ to laugh out loud.

“Hey, cutie Min Yoongi, how is it that you can be this cute? I think I should be your teacher’s assistant instead from now on” he said by no means with a benign expression, opting for a dicey wink instead.
