There is a day when everything you always know is not the same anymore. It's called, the future. In the future, the Eligens day will show who you really are. The ones who will join the Eligens day are the teenager who currently reaching the age of maturity, which is eighteen. There are three kinds of caste in the Eligens. Those are, the Doctus Est, Sofos, and Eleftheria. Actually, there are four clans. There is a clan called the Mathitis. They are the kids, they still learn about things. The Doctus Est clans are the smartest, they have build all the technologies which the human-being curently use. They are wealthy, and educated. They are our teachers, our doctors. The Sofos— They are the most honest people in the world, we must say. Honest, and wise. They are our polices, our judges, our presecutors. The last caste, is the Eleftheria. The Eleftheria themselves called them Eleftherian. Nobody wants to be an Eleftherian. They live on the street, they are thieves—at least it is what the other clans always say–, they own the night. People always see them as a bunch of mad people. Some people called them wolf.
Well...
My parents always say that I shall not be friends with the Eleftherian. Even if deep down in my heart; as a kid, I always admire them. I personally think, that they are the symbol of freedom. Of course, I don't say this to my parents. They will throw me to the Anima for rehabilitation or psychology check if they heard this. Anima is a part of Doctus Est. That is a place where people with unhealthy body, mind—or maybe even soul– gathered around.
"Irene?"
Oh, crap.
"Yes, Mother?" I quickly turn my body around from the desk to see my mother.
"Do you know what time is it, dear? You should sleep, tomorrow is your Eligens day," she caresses my hair as her face gives me tha motherly smile of her.
"I get it," I hang my head low. "I apologize, mother."
"Apologize accepted, dear," she pecks both of my cheeks. "You will be a great Doctus Est, Irene. That is in your blood."
I bit my lower lip before I throw a smile at her and nod my head. She kisses the top of my head before walks outside my room.
I watch her back fades as she closes the door and quickly make myself comfortable on my bed.
Weird. As far as I know, I should be nervous now since tomorrow is my Eligens day. I should think, what if my result shows that I am and Eleftherian? What if I will be separated from my family? From my Doctus Est clan? I should be, and must feel nervous. But, I don't. I don't feel anything. I don't feel like my stomach is jiggling and makes me want to vomit every minutes. Not a chance.
