ASHLEY POV:

"Mom,I cannot just live in a stranger's house"  I literally screamed at my parents for the tenth time in the past hour. I was so frustrated at the decisions that they were making for me without my opinion. I could feel the anger inside of me pouring out with every word that i spoke.

"Baby,listen to me!! It's your aunt's house,you use to visit her every day before we shifted. It was always your second home!" my mom said in her most convincing voice. Professors, you just have to believe whatever they say. damn why do i have them as my parents!!!

" Its not the same. Im not a nine year old anymore and its in a totally different country and i dont even speak....." 

" Baby, you know how to speak korean, dont try to make excuses." my mom cut me off before i could finish my arguement. "you can do this for us,Baby! it was always your dad's dream to work in this project. I promise we will be back before you know it. Your dad, he always wanted it so much, you know that, right?"

So that is how i ended up boarding a plane to Korea, feeling as abandoned as an orphan with a big fake smile on my face to cover it up. Yup.I won't deny it the last sentence my mom said melted me and proved to me for the hundredth time that i'm never going to win against my mom.
