Foreword
The door to my dormitory creaked open as I turned the knob.
I looked around the room. It was a familiar sight – it had my own unique smell. The book shelves in the room were in the corner, untouched.
My bed was in its original position, next to the window, neatly made. My study table was next to my bed, my notes strewn all over the place. It was still in its original state from yesterday night. I had been studying and burning the midnight oil for my history exams today.
But there was definitely something wrong about my room. Something had been changed.
I furrowed my eyebrows and stepped into the room, closing the room door, trying to observe my room properly. I walked closer to my study table. Something glinted in the light. It was red in colour – a note written in red.
Sweeping my hand over the smooth piece of paper, I picked it up.
