Korean has its own list of pronouns, but the usage is much limited and follows some usage rules. Any contextually understood sentence elements are often omitted.
First Person Pronoun
PLAIN HUMBLE FUNCTION 나 저 singular 내 제 singular possessive 우리 저희 plural/plural possessive use of either plain or humble depends on who you are talking to use of humble form is normally collocated with honorific elements (deferential speech level endings, honorific suffix, euphimistic words, etc) 우리/저희 has a wider usage. It can also be used as the first person possessive pronoun when referring to communal possessions (eg one's family or household, school, etc)Second Person Pronoun
PLAIN POLITE FUNCTION 너 당신 singular 네 당신의 singular possessive 너희 당신들 plural/plural possessive there is no second person pronoun for addressing an aduld equal or senior in Korean avoid secon person pronouns when addressing a person you do not know well if unavoidable, use addressee terms as second person pronoun. When using an address term, you have to know the addressee's social status, or the relationship with you. Examples 선생님(teacher), 선배(senior), 과장님(section chief), ~씨(Mr./Ms./Mrs.)Third Person Pronoun
