“What did you see on this canvas Changjo ?”Yulchan asked eyes darted at the canvas in front of her.

“Ermm black ?”he answered not knowing what should he say.

“Black represent ?”another question rolled out of her tongue.

“Darkness ?”he answered still in confusion. She tore her gaze of the canvas and stared at her feet with gloomy smile.

“Do you know what is the title of my project ?”she asked still with a weak smile locking eyes with the boy who is in a complete confusion in front of her. “My life.”she muttered out before looking back at her canvas and let out a sigh.

“I live in darkness.”she added.

“Are you sure you’re done with your project ?”he asked.“Let me give it a finishing touch up.” Changjo smile at her before grabbing a small paintbrush and a tube of yellow paint from her desk and squirting a good amount on her palette. He dipped the small brush in the paint and brought it to the canvas making a noticeable yellow dot in the center.

Yulchan looked at him with furrowed brow clearly confused with his act.”What are you doing ?”

“Giving life to your paint. This yellow dot represent light to your darkness. And..”he looked at her in the eyes before adding, “ I’ll be the light that’ll get you out of the darkness.”

‘You don’t even know what you’re making me Changjo. ’she thought to herself.
