Wild hearts can't be broken. They can't be broken because they refuse to be tamed; to be shackled down.
Jackson lived his life that way. Loving whoever and whenever he pleased, but never staying too long.
He had no real theories of love, only believing that his heart was for no one to have nor could it be broken.
Or so he thought.
That changed when he first laid eyes on Jaebum. His dazzling smile and sharp eyes that twinkled even in the darkest of spaces.
It only took mere seconds for Jackson to fall in love with the older male, for his wild heart to be caged in Jaebum's hands.
And only a few seconds more for his heart to break. Those same hands that held Jackson's heart were holding the hands of another.
The hands of his dearest friend, Jinyoung, who was smiling the biggest smile Jackson had ever seen him muster.
So as a friend he smiled for them. He smiled even as that wild heart of his died, longing to be free once more.
