Autumn of 2000
“Good morning Suji-ah!”, Suji’s parents said as they burst into her room with enthusiasm that never failed to put a smile on her face. Every day, the family of three followed the same routine; they woke up, got dressed, and ate breakfast all at the exact same time. They were inseparable; they were the perfect family everybody wished for, and wanted.
That was until one evening that affected their lives forever.
Foreword
I was such a foolish person. I have always thought life was full of happiness, I never once considered thinking about problems, just so that I can avoid the truth. I had little understanding of what occurred around me and around the world. There were people who lived on the streets; people who worked so hard for so little money just to feed their families….and there were people who were in pain. How can you enjoy life again after it tumbled down? How am I supposed to rebuild my life when everything that was once important to me is missing? I haven’t found the answers yet since I wasn’t prepared to face reality, but I am determined to overcome my hardships with a positive mindset.

17 years old
Suji lived a perfect life, she had a caring family, she had a place where she belonged, and she never had to go through a painful experience. But when an accident happens, Suji is forced to face reality and find answers to all her questions about life. Although Suji's life could never be the same, she wants to start fresh and become happy again. Suji's best friend was Myungsoo, who she developed feelings for when they were young. Would they see each other again?
Kim Myungsoo
19 years old
Myungsoo was a childhood friend of Suji, since birth. They shared good memories and they were very close with each other, so they made a pact to always stay bestfriends friends forever. However, when Myungsoo was 8, Suji had to leave for an unknown reason. Myungsoo tried to stay loyal to Suji, but he thought they would never meet again. Myungsoo liked Suji, but he kept the secret to himself in hopes of telling her when they grew up, but he could never tell her since she left. Myungsoo loves to play the guitar, it is his passion and he has a dream to become an idol.
Choi Sulli
17 years old
When Sulli was 6 she met a girl named Suji, whom she became best friends with. Due to the similar situations they were in, they became very close and shared a special bond with each other. Sulli and Suji treated each other as if they were sisters, and were always there for each other.
