All are regarded as simple infantuations, but to those involved, it means so much more. People underestimate the fear that comes with confessing, but the thing that is scarier than confessing are the thoughts of the 'what ifs'.

What if I get rejected?

What if I don't truly love the other?

What if I get my heart broken?

But just thinking of the possibilites won't do anything. As time passes, those possiblities fade and chances pass. And all we can do is look back at those missed chances.
