"The Stars, Minji, the Stars"

Description

In January of 2017, the one thing American's thought to be nearly impossible happened: North Koreans set foot on U.S. soil. Docking in the small state of Maryland, due to its close proximity to the nation's capitol, the NKs took over much of the state and the border to Washington D.C. Six months later, what was left of the American military, was forced to halt due to the kidnapping of the President of the United States. On top of abducting the nation's leader, the North Koreans had taken many major celebrities from America and South Korea captive, in order to quench the hope already seeping out of many Americans as well as citizens of other nations around the world. With no army and diminshing hope, there seemed to be nothing left for the American people. Until December, 2017... suddenly, there was a reason to hope again. No one knew why, but the North Korean's were being fought in the middle of Maryland, by hidden faces. An army that never showed themselves. They were the rebellion, and they were taking their home back, one step at a time. But, no one knew how many people this army consisted of. Thousands? Hundreds? Ten? Or 20 Korean pop stars and one very determined teenage girl...

Foreword

"Don't do this to me, Zico. If one more of us dies then I'll die," I warned him.

"No one else is gonna die," Yongguk stated gruffly.

"Stop lying to yourself!" Jihoon screamed at him. "How many of us are left? Don't you dare say no one else is gonna die!"

"Calm down, Hoonie," Junhong tried. All 15 of them erupted into an argument while Hyomin and Miyoung tried to bring them all down but no one stopped until Namjoon spoke up.

"You can't die, Minji," he said, silencing everyone. "Because, if you die... then we all die."
