I am a cat.

 

 

 

Not always...

And definitely not since the beginning.

 

So I am cat and also human.

Let's see...

I only remember a handful of things of my human life before I became like this.

 

 

 

One, My name is Sandara...

Two, I was born in dessert like place - Egypt.

and third, I was adored and almost worshipped for my beauty.

 

 

 

After the curse , That vengeful old man kept me in cage. A cage large enough to hold 3 humans.

Years passed, I didn't change - I didn't grow old.

He fed me, sometimes bring me stuff to amuse myself. (because even a cat can get bored.)

 

 

The cage he kept me in was magical tied to his life force.

A power of some sort shocks me everytime I try to touch it.

So all my effort to escape failed because as long as he's alive, I can't leave my cage.

 

 

During those early years - there were moments I wanted to die.

But because of his curse, even if I didn't eat I didn't starve.

Though I did feel weak because of hunger, I didn't grew thin.

When I tried to bite myself or claw at my body - it was painful but it would heal instantly.

Like it never happen.

 

 

I became hopeful when One day I found myself awake and back to my human form.

I really thought the curse was broken even without the kiss or true love the old man said.

I remember the full moon shinning so bright and big - it bathe me with its light and I marveled seeing my hands, legs and skin.

All human again.

 

 

But as soon as the sun the next day touched my skin -

I was back to my cat form.

I cried for a long time - Mewing more like it.

 

 

The next Full moon I expected the change but it never came...

It made me question myself if what happened was even real.

Did I really turn back to human?

 

 

It was many months later when it happened again...

 

 

That's when I noticed It was the 9th day of that month.

Like the first time that it happened.

 

 

 

I didn't even care if its just one day... To know that I'm still human, that I can still be human relieved me.

 

 

 

 

 

The time passed and my despair changed to hope to watch the old man weaken.

Thinking that if he died I'll be free of the curse.

I was just fooling myself.

 

 

 

One night he sat in front of my cage and began talking. (I'm able to communicate with him telepathically)

He said its important and that I should listen if I want to be human again.

 

 

He said he was sorry. (Sorry my Furry behind!)
