When I can't Sing
Jessica's POV
My step mother walk out in the room after what she just said to me...pffh! Of course she
cared for my image she's just too scared to lose my popularity and that means no money for
her..I wonder why my father fell in love with a gold digger..anyway ,finally I could have my
break I wonder where is the nice place to go..I automatically search the Internet...since I only
have one week vacation, I should choose a place within south Korea..
I saw a picture on the map of south Korea and there's one island that caught my attention ..
" jeju island?" I search for that particular island and I saw pictures ,the only word I could
describe to this place is "paradise" this is the perfect place for me to go out in this city..
I immediately start to pack my stuff, I'm so excited for my 1 week vacation...
"jeju island here I come" I thought to myself..
After a long hours of travel I finally reach the island..and it didn't disappoint me, it's was way
better compare to the picture that saw in the Internet...I was overwhelm by the place until I
bump into someone....
J:"oh my god!!, I'm so sorry I didn't see you..I told the girl that has her head hung low and her
hair cover her face...I got panic when she's not moving ..
"hey,are you okay,please say something" I told her..but still she's not moving..I was about to
shake her when she suddenly turn her head up..
"annyeong haseyo..Welcome to jeju island ,I'm Krystal and I will be your tourist guide through
out your vacation "
I was stunned the moment she turn her head up..not because of her sudden introduction but
the way she welcomes me with her smile..
"come with me" I heard the girl named Krystal as she immediately drag me..
I normally don't talk to stranger and I honestly don't like being dragged on..but the way she
holds my hands ,I actually like the feeling ..
J: h-hey, excuse me..where are we going..?
K: to the beautiful places in this island ..
Krystal's POV
I was grasping for some air as Im trying to escape the guard that has been chasing me..it's
not that I'm a criminal but it's just that I really need a job to be able to live, i don't have
anymore foods to eat for the next days to come..and the reason why I'm being chase is
because I'm not really employed in here,so I'm just gonna pretend as a tourist guide..
As I walk around the place ..someone bump me and it hit my head and lost my balance..
I could tell that it's was a girl who just bump me as I notice her purse in front of me..
Maybe she's a tourist here ..I turned my head up and gave her my charming smile..
I introduce myself and make her believe that I'm a real tourist guide...
Then I saw the guard from a far still looking for me,so I immediately grab the girls hand and
drag her to come with me..
"h-hey, excuse me..where are we going..?" I heard the girl ask me
K: to the beautiful places in this island ..
"but I still carrying my luggage,could you bring me to the hotel first before we start our tour?"
Oh shoot! How will I bring her to the hotel?! That guard will probably find me if I bring her
there!..
K: O-okay I will take you there,let me bring your luggage and follow me..
I don't have anymore option but to bring her to my house since it was not bad at all..my father
gave me this nice house..but I lost my communication to him ,I wonder what happen to him..
All I could do is wait and take care of this house..
K: we're here..I leave your things here in the living room for a while so we could start our
tour..
J: but this isn't a hotel..
K: o-ow, you see I'm a private tourist guide and we provide our customer a private place to
stay like this..
J: really?
K: Y-yes..why,don't you like this house ?
J: no, this house is pretty nice actually..
K: I'm glad you like it..so should we go now?
J: s-sure, and by the way I'm Jessica ..
K: oh ,sorry I'm forgot to ask your name earlier, but it's really nice to meet you Jessica ..
J: it's really nice to meet you too ...Krystal.
