“wow! so pretty!”

         “She’s so adorable!”

        “Where did she come from?”

       “Foreign, yet so cute!”

  What? where am I? I think while I try opening my eyes. Slowly they open, All I see is bright colors and water running. “woah! she looks lost!” I hear, I slowly turn around to see myself looking at 6 mermaids and them looking back at me. “Who are you?” A girl with long curly hair with a headband in. “I am Alice” I say stuttering. She smiles at me. “Nice to meet you! My name is Eunji.” She says holding her hand out. I slowly put my hand out. She shakes my hand, getting it a little wet. “Let the other girls introduce themselves” She says.  I nod my head with a small smile. “ Hello! my name is Bomi, glad to meet you!” “Hi my name is Hayoung. Pleased to meet you!” I smile at how nice they are. “ hey my name is namjoo and I hope to be great friends!” I smiled “ Same here!” I say giving a nice smile.” Hi my name is naeun” I smile thinking she might be the quite one out the girls. “Hi there my name is chorong and I hope all of us can get along without hurting each other. She says grabbing my hand and shakes it happily. I was a little taken back by that hand shake. “Ya chorong don’t hurt her!” Namjoo says apologizing. “Its fine.” I say. They nod their heads and it goes into an awkward silence.

So I break the silence. “Umm where am I to be exact?” I ask. There heads looked up

Eunji smiled and said “ Welcome to Utopia!  This is a place where all the mystical water creatures such as mermaids, naaki, water leapers, Bunyip, and so many more!” She says. my eyes widend, who knew there was a place like this?! “what are those naaki, water leapers and a bunyip?” I ask more interested. Bomi answered this one “ A naaki is a water spirit, water leapers are very scary and unique to see I haven’t even seen one but its a creature that lurks around here somewhere but only prey on fishermen, and a bunyip lives in the swamps it does bring diseases and usually leaves humans alone but watch out you never know when they attack!” I nod my head. “How do I know when they attack?” I ask. “They take humans down under water and to their death, that only happens when you disturb them.” My eyes widened at the thought of that happening to me. They all laughed “Do you really think that would happen to you?” Hayoung asked. I nod. “Don’t worry. You should be lucky we found you!” She said. “Why?”  I ask.  Eunji smiled at me and came closer. “Because I am the princess of Utopia!” She says doing a flip in the water.  “All I have to do is get my dad the ‘king’ and tell him not to let ANY of the creatures hurt you in anyway!” She said. The others nodded smiling.  “Really? You would do that? We all just met!” I say. Eunji smiles and nods. “ Hey don’t worry. Anyway you should go back to where you came from. Its getting late.” Naeun says.I look down “Uh… I can’t go back home” I say. “What? Why?” Bomi says. “LONG story” I say. “Oh well you can tell us another time.” Bomi says. I nod. “Do you know a place I can stay at?” I ask helpless. They think for a while. Jeez I hope I don’t have to sleep out here alone…. “Uhh there is this abandoned place in the woods. That’s safe.” Naeun says, pointing the direction its at. “Naeun how do you know you can’t walk!” Chorong says. She is pointing out a fact. “Well I happen to have friends in the real world!” She remarks. “Naeun! When did you start talking back like that?” Hayoung says laughing. “Sorry” Is all she says. I laugh at how they act. Just like sisters.  “OK so where is this place you're talking about?” I ask wondering. “Hang on its back in the castle” She says going deep in the water. I guess I’ll be there by dark. “Does anybody know what time it is?” I ask hoping its not too late for dark starting to fill the night. “Around 5. Why?” Chorong ask. “I will have to go into the woods. Alone. In the dark” I say. “Don’t worry the vampires and werewolves, Demons and all the creatures might ignore you” She answers like it won’t be a problem. “OK” I say. Vampires and werewolfs scare me more than demons… :(

“Ok. I’am back here is the map to the abandoned house. It will lead you right there.”  Naeun says handing me the map. Perfectly dry. Strange. I know. “Thanks.” I say standing up. Making my way into the woods. “Hey, Alice wait!” I turn around. “Yes?” I say. “Make sure to visit us soon!” Eunji says smiling. I nod “I will” I say waving and entering the woods.
