Foreword

Anyone ever seen Buffy the Vampire Slayer? I mean seen it, like all the way through? I have, repeatedly. I practically know line after line of the damn series. Regardless, here is a link to the scene that inspired me to write this short oneshot. Zico and Kyung being the pairing was an absolute draw of the cards. But I like how it turned out ^~^ haha

Chapter 1: Hmm. Your title to this selection could have gone one of two ways (most likely) and with all the setup you built in terms of Zico never having drank from someone before, I leaned correctly in the actual direction. I might have seen the episode you're talking about (Buffy fan here!) but I couldn't check the link to make sure (no access to YouTube at the moment). Ack!

That being said, the buildup in the intro to where it eventually led was interesting. I think you took a couple creative choices here and I liked how you presented Zico's origins. Likewise for his fangs. Nifty nifty! lol And I'm still debating if Kyung was actually drunk or simply pretending to be so that he could more easily badger Zico into talking. Though I definitely had to giggle at his request (and explanation of why) when he found out. *face palm* I guess maybe he should be more careful about playing with fire though. *sigh*

I think you capture emotion scenes well too. There are lots of vibrant descriptors to really move it along and it was easy to get lost in the pair when they were together until the end at which point it's a sudden jarring stop that leaves you slightly disoriented. All of which makes me want to go back and watch Buffy again. Damn! lol

Like you, I enjoy drawing pairings out of a hat too, and I think this one turned out quite alright myself. I've seen them paired before but this is a new setting, which I'm inclined to enjoy (for various reasons). ^_^ Good job and thank you for sharing.
