“Catch me if you can!” Yoona skipped around like a little kid, teasing Sooyoung but not noticing the big figure behind her.
“Yah! ... Look out!” Sooyoung tried to warn her but it was too late. Yoona had once again bumped into someone else. This time, knocking over the drink in his hand and staining his uniform. Yoona looked up and saw a big-sized guy, face red with fury.
“What the... Are you blind!?” the guy looked at his own stained uniform and noticed a small-sized hand, holding a handkerchief, wiping the stain for him. And the owner of the hand is, of course, Yoona.
“Ahh.. I’m sorry... I will pay for the washing...” Yoona stuttered, as she kept her head low, avoiding glances with the guy since she is scared.
The guy observed her for a while and a evil grin appeared on his face.
“There’s no need to waste your money..” the guy replied, grabbing Yoona’s hand.
“Ah?” Yoona was shocked by his sudden actions and did not have the time to avoid it. She struggled but it has got no use at all. His strength is overwhelming.
“Just pay with your body..” the guy continued as he placed his face near hers. Yoona quickly turned away and tried once more to get herself free from his grip but it was in vain. His grip tighten as she did so. It hurts. Yoona wanted to be free from this guy badly but nothing seems to be working out. No one in the crowd around them is helping. They just watched it as their own pleasure. She felt so helpless. Tears started to fill her eyes bit by bit.
“Let her go,” a familiar voice interrupted her thoughts. It was Sooyoung’s. She turned around and saw dark aura emitting from her. Everyone around started to move backwards, away from her, except the guy. It was scary.
“Let go...” Somehow, she gained some strength from Sooyoung’s words, but it has no use.
“I won’t do so unless you give me what I want...” He tightened his grip once more, causing more pain to Yoona.
“I say, let her go...” Sooyoung said it once more, emitting a larger amount of her dark aura, causing the people to move back even more. Her eyes are burning with anger.
“Who are you..? Do you want some fun too? I don’t mind two at once... especially when both are so beautiful...” He walked towards Sooyoung and reached out his hand, in attempt to grab her too. But Sooyoung slapped his hand away and stared right into his eyes.
“Let her go or you will be sorry...”
“Ohh... I’m so scared... Like real! I guess I will do with one.. Hahaha..” He turned and walked away, dragging Yoona with him.
“I guess... words doesn’t work here... Let’s talk with fists then...” Sooyoung clenched her fists and jumped towards the guy. On the other hand, the guy turned around to see what is happening and find his face getting a direct hit, almost breaking his front tooth. Blood come out from his nose and the side of his mouth is injured too. Angered, he let go of Yoona, who fell down with a thud due to shock, and charged towards Sooyoung. Maybe it is due to his heavy weight, his movements are slow like a snail. Sooyoung easily darted all his punches and kicks, and her counter-attacks were highly successful. It does not take long until the guy was completely defeated and Sooyoung was untouched.
“I.. I w.. will get my revenge! For sure!” He scrambled away in fear, into the midst of the crowd. Sooyoung stood still for a while, probably to catch her breathe before she hurried over to Yoona’s side.
“Hey, are you okay? Did you get hurt..?” Sooyoung took Yoona’s hand and examined. It was bruised. He sure held her tight. Suddenly, she felt droplets of water dripping on her hand. She looked up and saw tears rolling down Yoona’s cheeks.
She was so scared until she cried... Sooyoung thought to herself, but being gentle was not something that she can do.
“Yah! Why are you crying?!” The tears did not stop, and she did not know what to do.
“Youngie~” Yoona cried out and pulled Sooyoung in for a hug.
“Yah! Wh..Why are you hugging me..?” Though she said that, Sooyoung did not pull herself away from Yoona. Instead, she just let her hug as long as she wants.
This feels weird... And my cheeks are burning up again.. Sooyoung surveyed their surrounding. Everyone is looking at them. But she could not do anything.
Just then, Yuri rushed in, with Seohyun behind her.
“Yoong! Are you okay? Didn’t I tell you to watch where you are going? Luckily Sooyoung is here with you..” Yuri squatted down beside the two almost immediately.
“Yul~” Yoona finally let go of Sooyoung and turned around to hug Yuri.
“Alright.. Hush.. It’s okay now, isn’t it? Hush..” Yuri patted Yoona’s head gently. Although her voice is gentle, Sooyoung thought that she saw fire burning in Yuri’s eyes. She seems to be angry. Very angry.
“Sorry Sooyoung. My sister is giving you so much troubles on her first day here.. and thanks for helping.. without you, I don’t know what would happen to her.. My treat later.” Yuri suddenly spoke up, and gave Sooyoung a smile.
“Ahh.. It.. It’s okay..” Sooyoung tries to refuse but it seems to have no use.
“It’s settled then,” Yuri continued, “Let’s go back to class now. Lunch time is almost over. We will be late if we don’t hurry.”
Yuri stood up and walked away, with Seohyun following behind and Yoona still clinging to her. Sooyoung was left alone, still sitting on the floor. The crowd dispersed, all going back to their classrooms.
“...I’m ignored...? Never mind...” And she stood up, brush away the dirt on her skirt and ran after Yuri.
