sixth sense
Description
moving from seoul to another smaller town seems like a perfectly normal thing but not for kim yukwon. yukwon finds himself being threatened by masked men to stay away from two mysterious young men who come into his life. his sixth sense, his gut feeling, his instincts screamed at him to avoid them from the moment they met but yukwon couldn't ignore his curiousity. before he knows it, yukwon is entangled in a love triangle with two century old supernatural beings he never thought could possibly exist. vampires. but they aren't the only two dangerous creatures he encounters, some actually mean to kill him. will he be able to decide between the two brothers? or will his fate with them end sooner than he thinks? and why exactly is he attracting so much attention, both good and bad, from these creatures?
Foreword
run. i have to escape from them.
yukwon's mind was in a blur as he pushed his legs to take steps forward. his whole body was aching and his chest was heaving up and down heavily but he couldn't stop. not yet. he had to find his way out of the forest before they found him. he let out a gasp as the sharp thorns sliced through his skin, leaving a huge cut across his arm.
, blood. they're going to smell this.
he stopped momentarily to rip off part of his wifebeater and tie it around his wound tightly, hoping to stop the blood flow. he started to run again when the rustling of leaves seemed to grow louder behind him. he could feel the blood coursing through his veins and suddenly, yukwon felt the energy draining away from his body.
badump, badump, badump.
his heartbeat echoed clearly in his ears as his eyes failed to focus clearly and everything seemed to merge in a mess. he felt his legs giving way beneath him but he had no control over them anymore. he lay sprawled out on the muddy ground and his eyes fluttered open and close weakly as he heard voices surround him.
"yes master, we've found him. we'll..."
the urge to sleep soon overcame his will to stay awake and listen to the unknown voice and everything faded into the darkness.
