一 perfect characters are definitely not accepted. that being said, no characters with thousands of flaws are accepted, either. even them out. nobody is completely horrible or perfectly flawless. we're all humans, aren't we?
二 idol relations are accepted, within reason. i know everyone says this, but its true. you can't have apink's eunji and b.a.p's daehyun as your siblings. but, you can't have jessica on her own and just ignore f(x)'s krystal.
三 faceclaims are only ulzzangs. honestly, how awkward would that be if your character looked exactly like a girl group member? yes, you could say that it would potentially be an awesome thing, but i'm sorry. i say no.
四 love interests are optional. any orientation is allowed. if its an idol, i don't mind which group they're from. noona-dongsaeng relationships are accepted, too. i think they're adorable, to be honest. for any relationship, i'd say that the maximum age difference is 5 years.
五 talent twins are to all be female kpop idols. mains are the strongeest, then leads and then ones without anything in front. if you were a vocalist, you wouldn't put down iu as your vocal twin. if you were a main vocalist, it wouldn't be dara. if your position does not state that you are a rapper, then do not include a rapping twin. dancing twins, however, are necessary. if your position does not state that you are a dancer, then don't go and put down minzy or hyoyeon. choose someone who isn't that strong of a dancer, but they are idols, so they're relatively good enough. and you can't say "she's secretly a good dancer", cos there's no 'secrets' here when it comes to being assessed for your talents. if your character was an above average dancer, then why wasn't she given a dancing position?
六 a fully korean character is preferred, but i have no problems with halfies or chinese/thai/viet etc characters. i just think that, since this is a kpop group, it would make sense to have, in general, more korean members.
七 your character must be born from 1993-2000. that's the age range of the group. too much of an age difference is personally a bit awkward for me to write about. for what reason? i really don't know. all i know is that 2ne1 and brown eyed girls have big s, but i don't know how to write it as brilliantly as it worked out for them.
