CANDID RANT Perhaps I'm a pessimist, but I constantly find rp-ing bringing the worst out of people. People grow competitive, desperate, and hateful. Grudges on the internet now last longer than those in real life. I constantly find myself conforming to peer pressure and allowing people hiding behind a screen to get to me. All people do now is rant about the problems (similar to what I'm doing now) rather than trying to change it. Very rarely do we find a brave individual struggling to spread positivity.
        A/N I guess it just comes down to people finding it easier to vent about problems, rather than face them. The one thing that bothers me the most about this is that it is something so easily fixed. Like, if everyone just acted they way they wish to be treated by other people then the rp world would be a much nicer place. I also feel really sorry for those admins who genuinely want to create the "ideal" rp environment because they are constantly being shot down, people don't want to give them a chance and popular rps attract all the attention. I feel like there are people who have tried, but not many people were willing to help them. I wish people would just be nice to each other. Like, is it really /that hard/ to be friendly and accepting? I hope that there is an admin out there who will try to stamp out all the negativity associated with most rps
