Hunters
List of creatures“If you don’t do anything, you simply end up overwhelmed by something happening.”
This is considered just a subcategory of humans since they have not a gift for magic or magic powers, but they have a genetic characteristic.
It is believed that the original hunters were vampire hunters that ate a 1st class vampire to gain their powers after killing it with an elf weapon and asking a magician to destroy its heart.
This power they gained by this action was transmitted genetically to a new generation of hunters, who are born with a mark in their shoulder.
Despite having more strength, speed, resistance and heightened senses, hunters are mortal and have not as much power as any vampire, werewolf, demon, dragon, etc… They bet their success in hunting in small or big groups and using magical weapons created by elves or wizards. Some hunters, but not all can perform some class of magic, like controlling an element or reading minds.
Abilities
- More strength, resistance and speed than humans
- Good in the use of weapons.
- Good for physic combats.
- Good at strategy, planning and work in team.
- Good at hunting and hiding
- Some can control an element or read minds. (just 1st class… pick just one of the powers, in case of picking an element control, please specify which one)
- Their magic weapons are actually very powerful.
Weaknesses.
- Same weaknesses as humans: vulnerable skin, vulnerable to any kind of attack, short lifetime, etc.
- They totally depend on their weapons, on team work and the class of creature they are facing. (a hunter alone could just kill 2nd class creatures.. work team is needed to kill 1st class vampires, werewolves, dragons and wizards)
Subcategories:
1st class or Leaders: As the name says, they work as leaders of the Hunters Association and usually have traits with more powerful creatures, despite hating them. 1st class hunters have direct bloodline with the original hunters that ate the vampire.
2nd class or subordinates and students: Subordinates that work for the Association. 2nd class hunters have ancestors that are not in direct bloodline with the original hunters, Students might ascend category if they have the genetic characteristic and a pure bloodline.
