I wondered why the simple lines from his mouth like “who are you?” and “sorry, but I don’t recognise you,” could make my eyes wet with tears.
Hakyeon was totally blank when I was rushing to the washroom, crying and heartbroken. I almost fell when stumbled in front of the sink, probably because of my blurry vision. I looked at the reflection on the mirror and a young pale guy named Taekwoon was staring back at me, with trembling red thin lips and red watery eyes.
“Breath in, breath out.” I whispered.
The pain was still there.
In my heart.

After washing my swollen face I returned back to Hakyeon, where he was having his dinner on the bed. He lifted his head from the rice porridge when he realised I was beside him.
“Why’re you crying?”
“I’m happy when you awake. Vixx is missing their leader.” That was the truth and lie.
“Oh.” He looked confused. The name Vixx was too new for him. Everything was new to him now.
Hakyeon scooped a spoonful of porridge and ate it slowly, like he was worried about something.
“What’re we before?”
I was crying again, but this time I was too smart to not show it.
“Nothing. Just the band mates and same-aged friend.” I coldly answered and Hakyeon looked a bit hurt.
