The Academy was established in the early 1800s by the five original founding families: the Windsors, the Lancasters, the Romanovs, the Solomons and the Baratheons. The four families were the earliest settlers in the town of Midnight Falls and were originally sworn enemies. They were always arguing and always threatening war. The lesser founding families then divided to ally with the five houses.

But then, an enemy arrived in Midnight Falls that threatened to disrupt the peace of the citizens in the town. A dark warlord named Lord Tavernier had unleashed a full scale attack on all supernatural creatures in the country. The five families, knowing that there wasn’t any choice, were forced to work together to drive the enemy away from their home – and succeeded.

Following The Great Battle of Midnight falls, the five families decided to put aside their differences and instead became allies. Together, they built a school for supernaturals and humans alike to learn and to make sure that the terrible Purge will not repeat itself.

But there has been word among the streets lately that the soul of Lord Tavernier was seeking vengeance upon this particular education institute? Could it be true?
