“Ma! Ma!” A little boy ran into the kitchen, tugging on  his mother's apron trying to get her attention. “Yes Luhan?” His mother looked down from her cooking. 

“Can I please go over to Bomi's house. Please!” He plead, giving her his best puppy dog eyes. “Ok just let me finish this up and I will walk you to her house.” His mother kindly smiled as she ruffled his head of hair affectionally. Little Luhan jumped up and down in excitement. 

It's been officially two years since he became friends with Bomi. Since kindergarten Bomi would always come up and talk to him which he really liked. In grade one he was being picked on by another student one day and Bomi stood up for him and defended Luhan. Even though after, both Luhan and Bomi got sent to the principle office because they started a “fight” but he appreciated that she was there for him.

Bomi turned out to be a very good friend, yes she could be loud at times but Luhan liked that quality about her. Bomi and Luhan lived very close to each other, in fact he only lived 2 houses away from Bomi. Because of this they would go over to each other's houses frequently. 

“Could I go over to their house too?” Luhan's older sister suddenly pop out from her room. “Did they say it was ok?” Luhan's mother asked his older sister Yoona. “Yeah Bora said her mom said that it will be okay if I come over too!” Yoona explained.“In that case Yoona you can go and please take Luhan with you.” Yoona cheered and grabbed onto Luhan's hand dragging him out of the house. 

Yoona is Luhan's older sister she is two years older than him. Bomi also has an older sister name Bora and those two are also friends so that was another reason why Bomi and Luhan tend to play together quite often. 

“Lulu!!” Bomi exclaimed as she opened the door after Luhan had push the doorbell. “How many times do I have to tell you to stop calling me that!” Luhan pouted but Bomi smiled and pinched his cheeks. 

“Your cheeks are squishy!” Luhan pushed Bomi's hands away from his face. “That hurts!” He whined like a baby which earn him a giggle from Bomi and a slap on the head from Yoona. 

“I'm sorry, I didn't mean to hurt you. Here let me give you a kiss that will heal your boo boo, my mommy always does it after I get hurt!” Bomi apologize to Luhan as he rubbed his red cheeks. “Actually I think noona slap was more painful than you pinching my cheeks.” He lowered his head so Bomi could kiss it better.

 Luhan looked up to Bomi who was ruffling his hair like the way his mother was earlier. “My dad got me a new soccer ball! I'll show you how to play!” Bomi ran to the backyard with Luhan following her. 

Bomi went into her shed and came out holding a brand new soccer ball. “My dad signed me up to play soccer this summer, you should sign up too than we can play together.” She passed Luhan the ball. 

“I'm not very good like you Bomi.” Luhan sighed and kicked the ball back to her. “So? It will be fun! Lulu watch this!” Bomi ran around Luhan with the soccer ball and than ran to the goalie post and kicked the ball hard enough that it flew into the net. “GOAL!” She cheered, jumping up and down clapping her hands together. “Now it's your turn to shoot, I will be the goalie!” Bomi passed the ball to Luhan. 

“Okay… it's now or nothing.” Little Luhan mentally told himself. He took a step back and than started to run to the ball. In seconds Luhan managed kick the ball with power and speed, he watch in amazement as the ball flew up in the air flying toward the net. 

But soon his amazement turned into terror as the soccer ball was heading right toward Bomi. And before he could do anything the ball went straight to her face. 

Luhan ran over to Bomi who started to cry, “Bomi! Are you ok!” He started panic he didn't mean to hurt Bomi, it was an accident! “My face hurt.” She weeped between her cries. “Bomi let's go find your mommy.” He tried to help her stand up but she struggled back not willing to stand up. 

“Bomi, do you want to feel better?” Luhan asked, Bomi nodded her head as she started to quiets down. “Let's go find your mommy than.” Bomi shook her head, wiping her tears away. “Give me a piggyback!” 

“No you're heavy!” Luhan disapproved Bomi ridiculous request. Bomi pouted and looked up into his eyes with her version of his sad puppy dog eyes. Luhan had to admit she has gotten better at it, but he was not going to be tricked with that move since after all he is the one who taught her that technique. 

Luhan stubbornness prevails as he crossed his arms not willing to give into Bomi. Her bottom lip quivered and she started to cry again. “Okay okay, I will give you a piggy back ride. Just please don't cry.” Luhan couldn't withstand Bomi's high pitch cries therefore had no other choice than to to give in. 

Bomi stopped her crying and jumped onto Luhan's back in victory. She smiled a little even though her face still sting from the impact before. Luhan carried her into the house where he found Bomi's mother in the living room.  “Oh Bomi what happened sweetie?” 

“Your cheek is swollen.” She cupped Bomi's cheek, examining her face very carfully. Bomi's mother carried Bomi to the kitchen with Luhan who felt very guilty as he was the reason why Bomi is hurt. 

After giving Bomi a ice pack her mother asked for an explanation, Bomi looked a little hesitant and Luhan started to get scared. It was a accident and he knows that Bomi's mother would understand but he couldn't help but feel nervous. 

Bomi didn't answer instead she looked down to the floor. Her mother was still waiting for an explanation. “Me and Luhan were playing soccer and… he accidentally kicked the ball into my face. Mommy don't be mad at him it was an accident! Please don't yell at Luhan!” 

Instead of being upset Bomi's mother gave her a kiss on the godhead and gave her cheek a little pinch. “Bomi do you really think mommy is that mean? I understand that it was an accident, if anything you would be the one who would hurt Luhan.” She laughed at her daughter silliness and than she turned to Luhan. 

“Don't be sad, Bomi is a tough girl. Would you like to stay for dinner?” Luhan let out a sigh of relief and smiled nodding his head at Bomi's mother offer. “Great! I will give your mother a call right now. I also made some cookies they are on the counter. You guys can have some and a glass of milk, just remember dinner is going to be soon.” 

As the two kids were eating their snack, Luhan couldn't help but keep asking Bomi if she's okay. Bomi eventually got annoyed with Luhan and punched him in the arm, as Luhan winced in pain Bomi asked if he was okay sarcastically. 

Luhan made a mental note to himself for the future that from that day on he will never hurt Bomi again. Hurting Bomi was very troublesome but also when he saw Bomi cry it made him feel even more worse than when his older sister gets the last of his favorite snack. 

“I will never make Bomi cry ever again!”
