Description

It all started one night when Jung Mijoo found something she wasn’t supposed to know– well, she was– but being the stupid one, she’s always ready to stay passive. But she’s not sure how long she can take all of the agony, she’s not sure if she can ever control the rush of frustrations building up inside her. The thought of losing him, she hadn’t felt more horrifying than ever. The anxiety is killing her, it was too suffocating and depressing. But just the sight of her bump she held for months, she tossed his shirt into a machine– one that could erase all of the evidence… sweet scent, lipstick, they’re all gone.

Foreword

It was when she watched all the hopes shatter. Hopes and dreams she earned and built for years, they’re all going down. It was when she closed their book like a happily ever after but then she finds herself starting a new one– a new one that’s much different from what they used to have. A story she wished didn’t hurt her that much so she could put on a smile and try to repair the shattered pieces. It was a story she wished she could skip to the ending. And there in the story, it was when she gave everything she had only to receive nothing.

It was when he broke his promises– into tiny fragments– and watched her pick it up. It was when he thought he’s better off without her. It was when he decided to live with her absence. He thought he did it right but it was when he realized he made the biggest mistake.

It was when everything lapsed into an abyss of emotions. Hearts were clouded with anger, hatred, disappointment and frustrations. She knew she wasn’t supposed to feel this way, everything wasn’t supposed to be this way. Everything… they shouldn’t be something like this.

It was when she loves him so much, but he couldn’t look to her… anymore.

And there, she held a story of how everything was just sad, beautiful and tragic, how she watched his smile fade away, how she watched him walk away and how she tried so hard to patch things up. Who would have thought it could be this difficult.
