Not So Different
Saturday finally arrived. Currently, I was outside of Yura's house. I reached my hand out to ring on the doorbell once however, there was no answer. Waiting for a couple of minutes more, I rung on the door bell once again, allowing its sound to resound through the whole house. This time, I heard a few strings of muttered protest before the front door swung open. I let out a smile but before I could greet, I had the door slammed right at my face in an instant.
Blinking my eyes in confusion, I saw the door open once again with only Yura's head peeking out. Stray strands of hair were messily on her head that I had to resist the urge to brush it away for her. She let out a slight embarrassed laugh before scratching her nape. Cute.
"Give me a minute?" She asked, her brown eyes blinking sleepily at me. She looked absolutely adorable in that state right now.
"Ok." I said giving her a smile. She opened the door to let me step in and told me to make myself at home before rushing into her room. Her house was very cozy, there was this sense of... warmth. It felt how it was to drink hot chocolate on a cold and stormy day, that kind of warmth sensation.
True to her words, Yura came down in about a minute or so, with her clothes changed and her hair kempt. She gestured me to her sofa before sitting down.
"Did you wait very long?" She asked, her head tilting slightly unconsciously.
"Not really. I suppose you had not eaten, I bought breakfast for you." I told her as I took out the container of food that I had brought along with me. Her eyes widen with
