  Valentines Day Surprise!
 - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -     "D-do-" Min bit her lip in hesitation as her eyes went from the blank screen of her cell phone to the worried faces of her group members. "Do you guys think he forgot?" The worry was evident in her voice, making the other three girls look at one another carefully before bringing themselves to say something.    They had just finished practicing the new routine for Hush, mainly for Suzy's sake since she was still shaken up about her performance at the GAON Charts Awards. Though the had girls insisted that the wardrobe malfunction was what had hindered her from performing and nothing else. Now they were finally able to catch a break, and Min sat on the floor in front of her bag; having rummaged through it to find her phone and check her ringer in hopes that maybe she just hadn't heard it go off. Much to her disappointment, that wasn't the case at all.   "Still nothing, Minnie?" Fei's comforting voice cooed in her ear as she came to sit beside her adorable group mate and friend. Min could only shake her head as she looked back down at her phone; Fei's hand patting her head softly.    It had been two days, and Min's mood hadn't gotten any better. She was growing worried and confused. She was never one to be insecure, but now she was beginning to lose all confidence in herself and the situation she was currently in.   "Min baby," Jia began as she made her way toward her best friend. "They just had their comeback. He's probably just busy. You know how it is when that happens."   "Yeah, Unnie," Now it was Suzy who was encouraging the older but smaller girl. "I don't think he means do it on purpose. There's still time."   "Suzy's right," Fei nodded, agreeing with the maknae. "Just don't think about it so much. He'll probably call later."   Min just shrugged. She couldn't cast away her friends words completely, especially when she knew they meant well. "I guess so." But the seed of doubt had already been planted; and in the back of her head, she couldn't shake off the horrible feeling of foreboding or the feeling of anxiety that was beginning to build up in the pit of her stomach.   To be honest, Min didn't expect much. She knew that it's what it meant to be an idol. Though privileged enough to do what they love, to perform on stage in front of all kinds of crowds; their personal lives had to be sacrificed. But again, she wasn't expecting that much. She hadn't been. She wasn't that inconsiderate. But a simple phone call would've sufficed; Even a text message could've been fine.   It would be two years this day, on Valentine's Day, that they've been together. Two long, stressful, tiresome, strenuous, exciting, thrilling, beautiful, amazing, and well worth it years of her life; together with him. They had gotten through two years together, but without his acknowledgement, it felt like nothing.   She wasn't one to regret things and she didn't want to start regretting the decisions she's made.   But he was her other half; the only person who really understood her. Surely, she could never regret risking it all for him.        ----------- ♦ ----------       "Min baby, you're still going?" Jia asked as she watched the small girl roll her luggage toward the door.   Since Miss A began promoting Hush, and Suzy had finally caught a break from her independent activities, the four girls had been staying together in the old dorm. Occasionally Min would go back home to stay with her grandmother and keep her company, but for the most part she was just happy being with her members again.    "Well, I can't let it go to waste now, can I?" Min said a sigh as she placed the bag by the door and began putting on her shoes.   Fei sighed as she placed her hand on the counter. "At least dress nice, Minnie."   "Wha- I am," Min voiced defensively as she looked down at her clothes. Sure it wasn't much but she was wearing black skinny jeans, leather boots; and a dark red, sheer, button up blouse that fell like a coat tail at the back. Granted, her freshly dyed blond hair was a little messy, but she thought she looked fine. "Does it really matter anyways?"   Suzy came up from behind Min and held out her coat for her. "What Fei unnie means, is that since it's Valentines Day and you are going to a really nice place, then maybe you should at least try to look the part."   Fei looked back at Min and then added, "I also don't like that you're going alone for a whole weekend."   "That can't be helped," Min explained. "We made these reservations ages ago and it's hard to book a room at the place. We even managed to score dinner reservations at the restaurant and it's all ready pre-paid. Even if I spend it alone, the least I can do is get our money's worth and try to enjoy myself."   "What's going to happen to you both?" Jia finally asked what had been on everyone's mind as she leaned back against the wall to their room.   Min shook her head before grabbing the handle of her bag again and strapping on her purse over her shoulder. "That's for another day. Right now, I just want to get away."       ----------- ♦ ----------       The hotel was as grandiose and elegant as she had expected: definitely worthy of its five-star rating.    Min had just finished walking in when she began to admire the large and open lobby; in the center, a glorious looking crystal chandelier, that looked like it would be incredibly expensive to the point that if it ever broke, it would be a to replace.   After checking in, and following the directions of the clerk behind the front desk, Min made her way towards the elevators in the center of the lobby.   Again, the sighs that were coming out of her had become as natural as breathing. She had gone almost the whole day doing it; But she couldn't help showing her disappointment. He should've been there sharing the experience with her. He could've been there. Why wasn't he?   And now, she became teary eyed.   No. She couldn't. She was there to enjoy herself. She needed to be happy and remind herself of where she was. A once in a lifetime getaway.   "Excuse me, miss?" A voice interrupted her thoughts and she quickly wiped away the single tear that had managed to fall before clearing and facing the owner.   "Yes?"   "Here. These are for you." The young man who stood before her held a bouquet of a dozen red lilies, which had opened up beautifully.   "T-thank you," She said as she took the bouquet and held it close, before looking at him. "But why?"   "Oh, these are complimentary. You're stayi
