across the mess of camera and flashes of the most important photoshoot, sungjoo casts his gaze like a net in desperate hopes of catching sight of familiar gummy grins. but he wears his emotions of his face and now it's etched with disappointment. so he looks down and tries to swallow the knot in his throat before glancing up at his name (and he bites back the tears that sear the corners of his lined eyes)
time troops on, and there's a silent tragedy that they become less like stars in the same constellation and more like the sun and moon who vaguely share the same sky.
as he watches sungjoo now - with singing in his throat and a knot in yixuan's - he thinks about how

so when they exchange finalities, it feels like a statement of something that long ended and they walk away that spring with the taste of stardust on their lips.
