After fighting with aunt So Ra for what seems like forever, here I am standing helpless and hopeless, in front of the gates of Hell -or what people here call Jeguk High – the most elitist High School in Seoul, a school that accepts only the ‘crème de la crème’ , a school that undoubtedly doesn’t suit the ugly duckling that I am.

I enter the humongous building reluctantly, and to my surprise it was fancier and bigger then what I expected. My palms were sweating, and I tugged constantly on the skirt of my uniform as I tried finding my way to the dean’s office. Minutes and minutes passed before I realised that I was going around in circle, I paused for a moment and asked desperately the first students’ group that my sight caught.

Cheogiyo (Excuse me), do you know where the principal’s office is ?… I am kind of lost ...

They snorted and started laughing before  walking off.

 Rude, I thought.

If every student behaves this way, then I definitely should get used to being the loner. I sighed as I  started walking again until I collided with someone. A girl. A pretty girl with brown bangs surrounding her face, and a lavender purple lipstick that made her seem more of a vixen. As I scrutinized her features, I noticed that the resemblance between her and an old friend was quite striking. It can’t be Yoo Rachel, right … As I was about to open my mouth, she cut me :

You must be new I’ll cut you some slack, next time watch out I won’t be as nice…

She smoothed off her skirt before leaving. Whispers could be heard all over the hallway. I tried exiting as well until a hand snatched me off guard and a girl said :
