Jaebum x Jinyoung

Outside winter raged on, endless blankets of snow covering every surface as people huddled inside their homes for the night. Jaebum crouched by the fireplace, poking the burning wood with the fire iron. Satisfied that it would burn for another few hours he stood, placing the fire iron back in it’s place as he walked towards the couch. He settled in beside Jinyoung, the younger automatically leaning his head on his shoulder. They sit there just like that, enjoying the warmth and watching the flames dance back and forth. The only sound came from their steady breathing and the howling of the wind.

“Why can’t we have nights like this all the time?” Jinyoung murmured.

“What? Of just sitting here doing nothing?” Jaebum asked. He always knew the younger to be a person who enjoyed using every second of the day towards doing something productive.

“It’s nice just sitting in front of the fire, with you.” Jinyoung sighed in content. “For once it’s nice not feeling rushed, like I have to get things done.”
