“Hey did you hear?” Chan said as he excitedly poked you.

“Whatttt?”

“THE SCHOOL IS HOSTING A WINTER BREAK TRIP TO THE MOUNTAINSSSSSSSSSS!”

“Channie, I wouldn’t be too excited if I were you.”

“Why not..?!”

“There’s no food up there.”

He turned pale.

Just then, Taec walked beside you and gave you a quick peck on the cheek.

He looked at Chansung afterwards and waved his hand in front of the younger’s face.

“Chansung? You there?” he asked.

And out of no where, Chansung snapped out of it.

“Taec hyungg! _____ is lying to me! She’s a liar.”

Taec shook his head at you, “Why such a bully?” he grinned.

“I could say the same to you” you shot back with a grin of your own.

Taec turned back to Chansung, “She’s not lying, there really is nothing to eat up there..”

And then Chansung lost it, “IT’S A CONSPIRACY, A CONSPIRACY I TELL YOU A CONSPIRACY” he screamed as he ran off.

You both looked at him like he was crazy.

“He’s been hanging out way too much with that guy at his work place..”

“You mean that short buff one right? The one with the obscenely tight shirts?!”

“Yeah!” you laughed.

“Woahhh what’s wrong with him”

You and Taec both turned.

“Hey guys.” Junho waved.

“Uh hey, what’s up?” Taec said.

“Nothing much, just want to tell you that the room lists are up and that we’re rooming together for the trip.”

“Cool.”

Junho looked at you, “Hey ____.”

“Hi” you said softly.

“Uh, so anyways, I’m gonna go now, bye you guys!”

You just continued to stare. Taec tugged on your arm a bit, “Come on, we don’t want to be late to class.”

“FOR NARNIAAAAAAAAAA”

And then snowballs were pelted.

“Take that and tha-”

You saw Junho off on the side talking with Junsu.

“Watch out _____!”

Taec jumped in front of you and was hit by a giant snowball.

“MAN DOWN MAN DOWN STOP THE FIGHTING MAN DOWNNNNNNN!” Chansung shouted.

“Oh my gosh, are you alright?” you said as you pulled Taec to his feet.

“Yeah, it was a snowball, not a bullet” he laughed, “although I’d take one of those for you anyday”

You blushed.

“You should stop randomly daydreaming” he grinned.

You laughed and softly punched him.

He pulled you to the side.

“Junho, it’s almost curfew, I’m supposed to be back in the room in 5 minutes”

“It won’t take too long, I just want to tell you that…I’m not giving up this time. Not like last time, I’m not giving up.”

“If you really loved someone, you’d sacrifice your own happiness for their’s right”

You nodded, “To an extent, but at the same time your own happiness counts too.”

“Why?” you looked at him inquiringly.

“Nothing, just a thought.”

“I love you.”

“I love you too.”

He gave a sad smile and shook his head.

“It’s not the same kind of love..”

You were confused.

“I think we should break up.”

You opened your mouth, about to say something.

He continued, “I thought about what you said, that if you really loved someone you’d sacrifice your own happiness for them, but at the same time still think about my own happiness. And the thing is, I can’t think of anything else that I want to do but spend forever with you, yet I can’t be happy knowing that you’re lying to yourself for my sake.

“But I love you Taec” you cried.

“I know you do, but you love me as a friend ____; I know that now, and I think it’s time you know that.”

He wiped your tears away, “Why are you crying? I’ll still be here, we’ll still be friends, best friends; that’s never going to change.” He hugged you, “never…”

“You still love him, as more than a friend.” Taec said.

You looked at him.

“Go” he said warmly, “make this sacrifice for me, go to him”

Here's the next chappie, how was it ?! 

Anyways, I've been camping over at my grandma's house because my whole city has been out of power for over 24 hours

and it's expected to be out for maybe 48-72 hours more since the crazy wind knocked out 10 power poles and have left trees fallen everywhere

but I'm going home despite the power outage today, so I can't work on the fic for a little bit
