Junhong looked up when a drink was placed in front of him, Himchan sitting down opposite of him with a warm smile. “What are you doing here? Yongguk's shift doesn't start for another hour.” The younger thanked him and took a sip before answering. “I was in the area and thought I would come by.” Himchan hummed. Junhong hesitated for a moment.   “Say hyung.. Do you like boys or girls as a partner?” The older seemed perplexed. “You mean as lover?” The blue hair nodded while Himchan put his head on one hand. “I don't really care as long as that someone is genuinely interested in me.” He shrugged. “Why do you ask? This isn't anything about Yongguk, is it?”   Junhong snorted slightly. “No. Nothing like that. So would you listen to a confession of a boy?” Now the other looked at him suspiciously. “Who are we talking about?” The younger smiled. “So it would be okay?” Himchan narrowed his eyes more.   “Well, considering that I'm single right now, what you should have maybe asked as well, it would be okay. I would listen to that boy's confession. Though I can't tell you what I'll answer. That depends on said boy.” With that he stood up, leaving Junhong alone at his table. Said boy took his phone and dialed the number of his best friend. It didn't take long for the other to pick up. “Yes?” “Hey. Where are you?”   “At home, where else would I be?” “Come over to the cafe. Yongguk's not here yet and I'm bored.” “Nice to know what I'm good for.” Junhong pressed his lips together in an attempt to hide a smile. “Come on!” Jongup sighed.   “I'll be there in twenty.” “You're the best!” “I know, I know..” They ended the call, the younger throwing a certain waiter a glance.   Around twenty minutes later Jongup entered the cafe. Noticing his friend, he walked over and sat down at the table. “Why are you here if Yongguk's shift hasn't even started?” Junhong shrugged. “I was buying things for my mum and thought I would come by.. And I maybe wanted to ask Himchan a few things.” He had his head on one hand, giving a nonchalant expression.   The gaze of the older widened. “What do you mean by that?” Junhong looked at his friend out of the corner of his eyes. “What I said.” Jongup contorted his face. “Junhong!” The other couldn't contain his laugh anymore.   “Don't worry! I was just asking him about his preference. And you know what? He doesn't care if it's a male or female as long as that someone is genuinely interested in him – his words.” He still grinned at the older, who sank down on top of the table. “And he's single right now.” “Is that why you called me?” Junhong's smile only grew. “Maybe.”   His friend groaned. After a moment of silence, Jongup looked up from the table to glance at the waiter he had fallen for. Junhong watched him warmly. “Just try it.. What can happen? Rejection? You'll never know if you don't try.. Don't you want to have the chance of things working out?” Jongup blinked before finally scoffing. Those were his words. He had told them Junhong when he had thought about his actions regarding Yongguk and his love for him.   “You should listen to your own advice.” That little smartass.. “What advice?” They both turned their heads to Yongguk. Junhong leaned on his hand again. The advice that made him think about confessing to his big brother.. “Jongup confessing to Himchan.” Jongup's face turned red.   “Junhong!” Yongguk seemed surprised. “You want to confess to Himchan?” His mind clicked and he looked at Junhong, lifting a brow. “Is that why you asked me about him?” The youngest tipped a finger against his chin, his expression mischievous like so often. “That might have been the reason.”   Yongguk narrowed his eyes. Though someone caught his attention. “Hey Himchan!” Said waiter faced the other, throwing a glance at the clock. “Yongguk! Is it time already?” The older smiled. “You never notice the time, do you.” Himchan did the same.   “That probably won't change.” Yongguk walked to the back. “Probably.” He vanished to appear in his uniform a moment later. When he did, Himchan left to do the opposite. He came out in his streetwear, looking at the older. “See you tomorrow?” “Yeah.”   Himchan lifted a hand to bid them all goodbye with a smile and left the cafe. Junhong nudged his friend. “Go after him!” Jongup jerked. “What?” “You can't wait for someone to do the first move for the rest of your life! Be brave! You can do it!” He pushed the older from his chair.   “Come on!” Jongup stumbled forward, his friend behind him. Yongguk opened the door and with a last push the boy was outside. “Hurry up!” Jongup looked conflicted. He really didn't want to do it. But then he had given Junhong the same advice he should follow..   Junhong watched his friend running in the same direction Himchan had wandered off to. He smiled, wishing his friend the luck he had wished for when he had been in the same situation.       Yongguk looked at the younger blankly. He didn't say a word. But Junhong knew he was thinking, connecting information and trying to comprehend. The face of the older changed to a calm expression. “I know you.. and I know that look.. You're serious, aren't you.” Junhong didn't waver, though inwardly his heart was beating fast. “I am.. I don't want you to see me as a little brother.. I want to be more than family.. more than friends..”   The eyes of the older were mixed with emotions. “For how long?” “I noticed a few months ago.” Even though he tried to be strong, the blue hair's nervousness made his voice more quieter than he intended. Yongguk looked apologetically, pain in his features. “I'm sorry for not noticing.” “It's not your fault.. This shouldn't even have happened.”   “Don't say that. You can't control love.” Before Junhong could retort something, the older continued. “Can you give me some time to think about it?” The other looked at Yongguk. Then he nodded. What else was there for him to do..       After some more minutes Junhong rose. “I'll see you later?” “Yeah. I'll call you when I go home.” “Alright.” Yongguk's eyes followed the younger out of the cafe.       Yongguk was laying awake. He had to think about so many things.. Junhong confessing.. His actions.. He had been so oblivious..   The boy put an arm over his face. What should he do..? Junhong was like his little brother. He was family..   To say he was shocked, would be huge understatement. The one he grew up with.. The one who he was always there for.. His most important person..   That boy was in love with him..   Yongguk sighed. Never had he expected something like this. And now he was confronted with a situation he didn't know the answer to. It was impossible for him to turn his back on Junhong. That was out of the question. But could they just continue with their friendship? Could they just ignore what had happened..? Junhong's feelings..? He didn't think so. It was unfair towards the younger.   So was Yongguk able to start a relationship with him? The idea was more than weird. Junhong was his little brother.. How could he think about anything romantically? It just didn't feel right..   He sighed. This was so complicated..       Junhong pulled out his ringing phone, the screen showing the number of his best friend. “Yes?” “Junhong!” The younger rolled his eyes. “Speaking. What happened?” “He said yes! I mean.. I asked him if he wanted to grab a bite sometime and he was really surprised but then he seemed to think about it and said okay!”   Junhong had to smile. “See!? I told you!” There was a quiet breath and he knew his friend was smiling as well. “I know.. Thanks.” “That's what friends are for.”       “He said to give him time. He didn't reject you.” Junhong took a breath. “I know it's the best choice I have at the moment. But that doesn't make me feel any more at easy.” The younger was lying on Jongup's bed, his head hanging over the edge. His friend was sitting on his desk chair. “I'm sure he doesn't feel at easy, too. You put him in a difficult situation.” Now Junhong looked at the older with slightly narrowed eyes.   “Whose side are you on?” His friend blinked. The younger rolled around so he was on his stomach. “Just say some encouraging words like you always do!” Jongup smiled warmly, walking over to the bed. “Let's play some games. Maybe that'll take your mind off things.” Junhong didn't seem that enthralled. “Mean..”   The older handed him a controller. “You're welcome.” The blue hair took it, sitting upright and crossing his legs. He sighed. “Thanks..”       “Are you hungry?” “No, I'm fine.” Yongguk fixed himself some slices of bread. “It's getting cold outside.” Junhong sat

In all honesty, this is my first time writing a comment on a story. It was just so breath-taking I couldn't leave without giving you feedback and an upvote. Sure, it's not perfect but who cares, you're not writer, you just put your heart into writing and that's all that matters. B.A.P being my favourite group, I'm always trying to find some juicy fiction about them. Unfortunatly, there isn't that much. That's why I was very happy when I found yours by chance. I was a bit suspicious at first, since I had never read something written like this (present/past) but it turned out just great. I'm still hungry for more, but ending your story on the beggining of their relationship is your choice. Plus, it leaves us the freedom to imagine how it turned out.
Probably one of my favourite fiction I've read on AsianFanfic so far !
