Take care
Chenlay drabblesBased on an interview Yixing did in the MAMA era where he said Luhan and Jongdae took him to the hospital when he injured himself because they were no managers around.
Luhan was helping Jongdae with his dance moves when they heard a loud thud and a groan. They simultaneously turn to find Yixing laying on the floor of the dance studio clutching his back with a pained expression on his face. Luhan and Jongdae shared a brief look, all the managers had gone home which meant that they were going to have to look after Yixing by themselves.
Several things happened at once; Luhan spoke quickly to Yixing in Mandarin before asking Jongdae to call a cab, Jongdae collected all their bags and did as he was told whilst Luhan went to pick Yixing up off the floor, then they were off. By the time they arrived downstairs, the cab was already waiting for them, Jongdae told the cab to take them to the nearest hospital as Luhan tried to get Yixing into the car without causing him too much pain. Thankfully there was very little traffic at 1am so they arrived at the hospital relatively quickly.
Jongdae didn't even know he was crying until Yixing's hand came up and brushed his tears away. "Don't cry Jongdae-ya, I'm going to be fine."
Jongdae choked on a sob and fresh tears began to fall. "I'm so sorry ge, it's all my fault. If I hadn't wanted extra dance practise, you and Luhan ge wouldn't have stayed behind and you wouldn't be injured right now."
Luhan slapped the back of Yixing's head. "You made Jongdae cry!" He then turned to address Jongdae. "It's not your fault, it's Yixing's. That boy would've stayed behind anyway, that's what he does every day."
"It's true." Yixing agreed. "I'm sorry for making you cry. I'll be more careful next time."
Jongdae tried to keep the tears at bay because Yixing was smiling at him so warmly even though he was in so much pain. He waited outside the room they were treating Yixing in and watched as Luhan made a few phone calls to their managers. Once their managers arrived, they sent Luhan and Jongdae back to the dorm. They spent several minutes convincing Jongdae that he didn't need to stay by Yixing's side and that he should return before the boy finally relented.
He had a lot of trouble falling asleep that night. Guilt and worry was eating him up. He tossed and turned until he was facing Yixing's empty bed. He sighed and stared up at the ceiling, accepting that he wasn't going to get any sleep. Maybe it was his imagination but the room seemed a lot colder without Yixing.
