It was a shock. The kind of shock that passes through your soul. There was an absence of pain. But there exists an overflowing feeling, a feeling nothing within her vocabulary can explain. She has always rehearsed the whole thing in her mind. But this is nothing close to it. It was way more beyond that. The way her skin smoothly brushed against his. It was the kind of static that no electrons can justify. It left her breathless and wanting. A normal electric shock would usually energize her but this is the kind that all the life in her. A shock you only encounter once in a life time, leaving your knees weak, your mind blown, your hands sweating and your cheeks burning. She was stuck on her initial position, unable to move. The future though, flashed back before her eyes. Her hand on his hand, his eyes crinkling as he gazed down on her, full of love and appreciation. His mouth curling, forming into a smile, and she can't help but stare at those thin curve lines and how much she loves to put hers on them. The weather was perfectly cooperative as well, the sun mirroring her feeling. Warm, happy and bright. Her toes buried deep in the sand as the water calmly washes her worries away. Because she knows that he's here and he's hers. She clutched his hand close to her chest as she looked up at him, his perfectly chiseled jaw, his sun-kissed skin and the way his hair flow freely with the wind. She's exactly where she wants to be, in his arms.  

Until reality pulled her back to the ground. And no, he's not hers because the girl in the red dress is the one he'll marry one day and she will always be that girl who looks at him from afar, not knowing his name nor him knowing her existence. She will always be the girl who's there to support him but never had the chance to get his attention, ever. For she knows, the only place where him and her will be together is in her dreams.
