Her dad slapped her hard in front of her grandparents and yelled

"That stupid left me for another man & I'm stuck with your little for eternity!"

He left their holiday house in fury!Her grandparents tried to stop him but to no avail.They comforted Estella as best as they could but her heart was

Since that day, Estella lives with her grandparents in Toronto.Her dad returns every holiday to force her take stupid classes like etiquette class so that she can act as the perfect daughter during the Corporate gatherings that takes place every holiday,...She also has to take business classes if she wants to be able to Major in what she wants and loves....Poetry...

However,she was forced to move out & live in Seoul as her father is getting married & building another branch there.Since he was getting married, he was nicer to her & bought Estella a house of her own. Basically implying "I want you to ing leave so I can play with her"

So she basically got her freedom but her relationship with her father was forever on the rocks.The loving faster she knew as a child was gone with the wind...She got to choose what she wanted to do with her life at least.Hence she entered Hanlim and got to skip a year becos she is her father;s daughter which is great because that means she can be with Min,her best friend of 10 years.
