Ms. Park: Okay class you may go now!

I stood up and got my backpack, I exited the room and go to the comfort room to check myself after that I walk on the isolated hallway. Yes I'm alone today, My friend yuna got sick. Speaking of yuna, she texted me

 

Hey! How was school? I'm in the hospital, the doctor said that I can go back to school after 2 weeks. I need help in lessons and assignments. Please? ;(

 

I smiled and replied

 

sure! Anything for my bestfriend, I miss you already.

 

I went to the bus stop and Wait for a bus then a guy who's age is ranging from 18-20 stand beside me, he was texting then a bus stopped and we entered the bus, i wanted to sit on the window but he was the first one

'.' I cursed on my head.

I sat beside him and my phone dropped, i tried to get it but he was the one who got it

 

me: Thank you.
________: no problem.

 

I waited until the bus stopped on the bus stop infront of the hospital

I stand up and I tripped on something invisible but someone grabbed my waist to stop me from falling

I turned around and it was him again, I was a bit thankful he grabbed me before falling

 

_______: look at you, please be careful next time. *smiles*
me: ah.. Gomawo.

 

I was shy because he was the first one who said that to me, well except for yuna.

I got out from the bus and started to walk, then I saw him walking next to me

 

me: *glares* hey, are you following me?
______: Huh!? Anio! I'm going to the hospital to visit my dongsaeng.
Me: oh.. Mianhe.
______: Look, I save your life and talked to you for 3 times but I still dont know your name.
Me: Mianhe, I'm jaemi, Moon Jaemi.
______: oh, cool name! Dont be sorry! Well, my name is lee hyukjae but I prefer to be called eunhyuk.
Me: nice to meet you.. Hyu--eunhyuk.
Eunhyuk: *chuckles* same!

 

We entered the hospital and yuna texted me the room number.

 

Hey! It's room 159. Seeee ya! :D

 

i smiled and bid goodbye to eunhyuk, I ran to the elevator and searched for her room..

 

Me: *stops* aha! 159!

 

I knocked and entered, I saw yuna lying sick and green on the hospital bed, I smiled and sat beside her.

 

Me: so, how was your day?
Yuna: Fine, sick. *laughs*
me: Oh my you're sick?!
Yuna: yah! Stop being sarcastic!

 

We laughed when someone entered.

 

Yuna: Oppa!

 

I heard a familiar voice from behind, I turn around and it was eunhyuk..

 

Eunhyuk: hey! What a coincidence!
Me: I know right!
Yuna: wait? You knew each other?
Me: 45 minutes ago.

 

We laughed and I taught her some of the new lessons i learned from school

while eunhyuk is sitting at the chair watching TV.

 

Eunhyuk: yah, Jaemi.. Do you want to be a teacher when you grow up?
Me: ani, waeyo?
Eunhyuk: because you teach my sister well.
Yuna: *laughs* ne, I agree to eunhyuk oppa.

 

Eversince that day, Me and eunhyuk go together to visit yuna, we also text often.. I really love having him beside me.

A week passed and tomorrow's my birthday. I was on my bed studying for a geometry exam tomorrow, great. I love my birthday.

 

jaemi.. Dont visit me tomorrow, because the doctor forbids visitors, he said that maybe the visitors catch the sickness, this yuna.

 

I replied and proceed to what I'am doing.
The next day I woke up, took a bath and prepared a simple breakfast for myself, I remember mom used to bake strawberry pie for me whenever it's my birthday, I miss her.. I wish she'd comeback to seoul and stay here.
My phone vibrated, I saw the caller ID.. It was yuna. I answered it.

 

Me: yobseyo?
Yuna: Happy birthday!
Me: aigoo! You're the first one, kamsa!

 

We talked a bit then after that I hung up.

I checked my inbox, I realized that eunhyuk didn't text me since yesterday, I was a bit disappointed but i said to myself that he's busy with his school since he's a senior.

The day went so well, everybody greeted me but I feel that there's something lacking.

When I got home, i kept on checking my phone but still.. No text from eunhyuk.

 

Me: *sigh* I wonder why..

 

I called him for more than 6 times but he doesn't pick it up.

Days passed, I havent heard any news about him, he didn't text me or even show up whenever I visit yuna.

 

Me: yuna, this might sound awkward to you but..
Yuna: what is it?
Me:.... I think I'm in love with your brother.
Yuna: *stood up* YOU.. WHAT?!
Me: mianhe. I dont know why.. But after her didn't show up here in the hospital or text or call me.. I felt I'm alone again, I felt my life was lacking something.. I realized it was him.
Yuna: *sighs* GO FOR IT. I'd be honored to be your sister-in-law..
Me: *looks at her* you mean... You like me and him.. To be 'us?'
yuna: ne! Why not! You look good together, you know. *chuckles*
me: I'll take that as a compliment.

 

After 3 hours in the hospital, I walked alone until I reached my house, I entered my room and i began to cry, I dont why but I really miss him.

*ding dong*

I stand up and fixed myself, I dashed downstairs and I opened the door, i gasped.. It was eunhyuk.

 

Eunhyuk: hey.. How are you now?
Me: *starts to cry* i hate you!

I hugged him while I'm crying, he hugged me back

eunhyuk: yah. Stop crying.
Me:... *sob* I missed you *sob*

 

he stopped hugging me and ask me if he can I come in first, he wipe my tears and I let him in

we sat on the sofa and he stared at me.

 

Me: *wipes my tears* mianhe for being a cry baby.
Eunhyuk: why do you always say sorry? It's nothing.
Me: *smiles* mianhe.
Eunhyuk: *chuckles* how cute *pinches my cheek*

 

there was an awkward silence between us.

 

Me: I'll just get some water.

 

I stand up and made my way towards the kitchen, I was filling up the glass when I felt someone hug me from behind

 

eunhyuk: *whispers* jaemi..
Me: *blush* yah.. Stop it.

 

He rested his head on my shoulder, I tried to hide my blush..

 

Eunhyuk: jaemi... I love you.

 

I froze when he said that 3 words, I turned around and our faces are close, I blush when he rested his forehead on mine, he closed his eyes and he hugged me tight, I could feel his breathing

 

me: ... What did you said?

 

He didn't say a word but he only kissed me, my heart skips a beat, he broke from the kiss and he smiled

 

eunhyuk: ... Get it?
Me: *kissed his forehead* ne! I love you too eunhyuk.

 

He released me from his embrace and he pulled something on his pocket.

 

Eunhyuk: *shows me 2 rings* belated.. happy birthday, I'm sorry I didn't greet you earlier but I was busy because I took a part time job on a coffee shop just to get you this..
Me: omo, 2 rings? Is it for us?

 

He nodded and slid the ring on my finger.

 

Eunhyuk: You know, If I didn't met you at the bus I might still be waiting for the right girl, then a clumsy girl came and I didn't know she was my dongsaeng's bestfriend, What a coincidence.
Me: awww you're sweet!

 

I smiled and hugged him tight and I whispered

"Thank you for filling the empty space in my heart, You're my first love."
