I woke up the next day to hear the birds chirping away. I rubbed my eyes and get ready to go to school.

After I had eaten up my breakfast I ride on my bicycle that umma bought for me when I was 12 and it’s

still in good condition. I left Hyemi and rode to school alone because she doesn’t like to go to school as

early as me, we only come back home together. I was enjoying the morning smell of Korea which I had

missed very much. I love the way my hair was being blown by the wind while I’m riding my bike.

As soon as I arrived at Woolim High School, I parked my bike and let out a huge sigh and a ‘hwaiting’

before I entered the school.  I was surprised that they were a lot of people at the school even though it

won’t start until 30 minutes more. I walked towards the principle office to get my class schedule. After I

had gotten it, I walked out of the office without looking up as my eyes were glued on the piece of paper on

my hands. Suddenly I bump onto someone.

Author’s P.O.V

“Ouch!”  Eunmi exclaimed.

“Mianhe, are you okay?”  a voice which sound like a guy asked.

He offered Eunmi his hand, you looked up to meet with his enchanting pair of eyes. He notice your

sparkling eyes and blushed but not until you can see the redness on his cheeks.  You finally grabbed his

hands and he pulled you up. You wipe off the dust off you skirt.

“Annyeonghaseyo,” the guy said as he smiled cutely at you.

“Annyeonghaseyo,” you replied back, even though you have been in Canada for 3 years, your Korean is still

fluent.

“Are you new here?” you nodded your head.

“Ahh, my name is Dongjun 17 years old!” Dongjun said as he bow.

“Eunmi imidah, Park Eunmi. 16,” you said as you bow 90 degree.

“So I’m older then! You should call me oppa,” Dongjun said but he saw he get uncomfortable.

“Oh you can call me sunbae, like Boys Over Flowers,” he said which make you giggled.

“Aigoo, you’re so cute! Come let’s go ! I’ll show you around!” he said as he grabbed your arm.

After a few minutes, the school bell rang and it was time for you to go to your classroom. You bid goodbye

to Dongjun and walked to your class. All eyes were on you as you walked into the classroom. Surprisingly,

 the teacher was already inside the classroom.

“Okay students! We have a new student here. Introduce yourself please,” Mr. Lee , your homeroom

teacher, said to you.

“Annyeonghaseyo, my name is Park Eunmi. Please take care of me,” you said as you bow 90 degree.

“ Alright Mrs. Park is 16 year old. But because of her good results she skip a grade. And I want no one to

make use of her because she is all younger than you, understand?” Mr. Lee  said with a stern voice which

make the other students chickened out.

“Mrs. Park please sit at the back.”

“But Mr. Lee! L doesn’t like it when people sit beside him!” one girl said.

“He’s rarely in class anyway, I don’t see the point of letting the seat get dusty.”

You slowly walked towards your sit. On the way there, some girls were glaring at you but you could care

less, once they know about your taekwondo moves, they will surely never want to mess with you. You could

also see some boys drooling, literally drooling as their eye were on you. As soon as you saw that, you

quicken your pace and sat on your chair.

‘Okay, let’s start today’s lesson.”’
