Summary: Mino feels abandoned when Jinwoo left YG Entertainment almost four years ago without a clear explanation. And now that Jinwoo's back as part of a new duo group, Mino doesn't want to share the same stage with a traitor.

Chapter Two

THE TRUTH

The universe has an issue with him, Mino concluded. Just three days after their comeback, he and his group were thrown to Japan, as always, as though they were a JPop group and not KPop idols. They were in a backstage room for a pre-recording for a Japanese talk show.

He didn't have a problem with that.

But it seemed like the universe had a problem with Mino's simple life so it decided to put some little twists.

A twist like putting his ex-girlfriend on the same show, on the same day Winner would be guests.

Kiritani Mirei was one of the guest hosts of the said show.

A twist like putting his ex-boyfriend on the same show, on the same day Winner, his ex-boyfriend's ex-group, would be guests.

Jinwoo and Sungjoo were also guests of the show.

"I want to call this episode, The Reunion of the Ex-es. You like that, Mino-san?" Seunghoon as they waited in the backstage room.

Mino was about to throw a pillow to his Seunghoon-hyung's direction when they heard a soft knock.

"Uhm… hello," Mirei greeted timidly as she opened the door.

Mino and Mirei dated briefly, for about three months. He started dating the Japanese actress two months after Jinwoo left Winner. s tried to stop him from dating Mirei because they all knew why he dated the actress.

Mirei was Mino's rebound.

And rebound usually doesn't work. Just like what happened to him and Mirei.

"Hi!" Seungyoon greeted her with a smile. Taehyun just smiled. Seunghoon greeted her in his weird Japanese greeting while Mino waved at her. They broke up but they remained friends.

"Please feel comfortable later and don't tease me and Mino-san," Mirei laughed.

"We'll try," their leader joked. All of them laughed.

Mirei wished them luck, bid her goodbye, and was about to leave the room when the door opened. She was almost hit by the door that the four guys' gentleman reflexes were switched on as they stood up to check if the actress was okay.

"I'm sorry! Are you okay?" the person who opened the door asked worriedly as he and his companion bowed endlessly to Mirei.

"I'm fine," Mirei replied shyly.
