at yoshima high located in yokohama, kanagawa, the students are often divided into groups. the three most known groups are ; the feared, the jocks and the nerds. cliche right? the students at yoshima high often judge people and instantly place them in the group they believe they belong in the most. enough with that, going on with their annual events, yoshima high is known for it's yearly annual 'class competition'. basically what happens is that nine people from each class are chosen to represent their own class in hopes of gaining the trophy and the $500 prize money. now the nine people who have gotten chosen for class  2-B could care less about the competition and are willing to just purposely lose. but, after finding out their enemies from another class are competing, it's their must to win against them, even if it means befriending the people that their own cliche groups hate.
