Chapter 11

Seohyun woke up and noticed it’s still dark. She felt uncomfortable when she realized she hasn’t changed from the night before and all memories of the previous night came rushing back.

oh dear what is this? She stared at the ceiling for a few more minutes when she decided that she have to leave. She has so many questions in her mind. She called the kids knowing they are now home. She had to talk to them and tell them what happened.

“Mom! don’t freak out, if you don’t want to admit that uncle Yonghwa might really like YOU then think of it as it was just a kiss, spur of the moment? Adrenaline rush?” Ia concluded while both kids were laughing at her dilemma, they feel like they’re listening to their sister’s dramatic yet romantic love story

“Do you like uncle Yonghwa mom?” was Maki’s only question when both kids calmed down form laughing.

“I don’t know”

“Ma, it’s impossible that you don’t know, does your heart beat really fast when he’s around?”

“Yeah I guess

"MOM! just answer with a YES or NO! No I guess!" Ia demanded while glaring at her mom

"Okay sorry mom! YES happy?"

"better" Ia smiled

“Do you frequently want to see him”

“Yes”

“Do you like being with him”

“Yes”

“Do you think about him often?”

“Yes”

“Then you’re in love ma”

“Wait how did you know all these? Victoria, tell me, do you have a boyfriend? I swear I’ll drop everything now and fly home”

“Calm down mother, it’s all google’s fault see?” Ia showing her phone search tags “How do you know when you’re in love”

“Better make sure it’s all google young lady! Maki better stay close to your sister or you’ll both get it!”

Maki answered her “ Ma before WE get it… YOU GET it first, you guys are like kids, sending signals to each other without taking responsibility, you do things for him he does things for you then say that’s what best friends do! MOM, BESTFRIENDS DON’T DO MAKE OUT SESSIONS!! Think about it and let us know okay? Relax, breathe if it gets too much call us”

Seohyun sigh “ I will thanks I love you kids no matter what you know that you are my priority. I would rather die than hurt you” Her skype call continued for 15 minutes more discussing home, school and the business. After they said goodbye, she looked at the clock it’s still 7:30. She has circuit for today at 1:00PM but decided to leave as early as now. She needs a hundred laps to clear her mind. She left without saying goodbye to Yonghwa it’s still very complicated. Little does she know, Yongwha was already awake and was about to go out his room when he heard her leave. He sat on his computer thinking then decided

“Ha! We knew you’d call! So what is it? Come on tell Dr. Love and Dr. Hate about it?” Maki answered his skype call

“Yah! How’d you know?”

“Well we just figured!” Ia shouted from the back.

“Did you speak to your mom?”

“Yes!”

“Did she tell you something?”

“Yes!”

“so…what do you think?”

“We like you! You look cuddly!” Maki answering him while imitating to hug a bear

“I need help here!”

“Why are you asking us for help, we’re teenagers for Christ’s sake! We’re young, wild and hormonal! You on the other hand is a grown man sir! And an intelligent person we believe!”

“Because you know her best you know how she feels how she would feel”

“Okay let’s try doing this instead, uncle Yonghwa I’m inlove with my bestfriend, I don’t think that is right there is too much complication, last night out of the blue I had the sudden urge to kiss him, what do I do next, what if he doesn’t like me the way I like him. What if we like each other but there are factors why we can’t be together? What do I do?”

Yonghwa pondered “ Then answered “If he’s really worth it then go for it. You only live once. Love all you want throw away all doubts and love like you have never loved before. Be each other’s back. Face the consequences head on. And when all else fail, fight for him”

The two kids smile “I think our job here is done Dr. Hate” Ia talking to Maki

“I guess so Dr. Love!” Maki answered smiling

“What? You haven’t answered my question, I answered yours!” Yonghwa whined

“Look here kid uncle” Ia pointed it out “ you’ll figure it out!  Don’t worry you’ll be fine! Goodnight uncle Yonghwa! We hope to see you soon! LOVE! LOVE! LOVE!” then both kids did clap clap clap then threw flying kisses to Yonghwa and ended the skype call.  The kids laughed at the two adults now behaving like kids inlove. Basing on the answers that they gave them, Yonghwa and Seohyun know what they feel, they know what to do but are just afraid to take one more step closer. It’s something that they have to figure out on their own.
