|| LU HAN POV ||

I hear voices calling my name, but I can't figure out who it is. All I know is that I was one stage performing in China. Everything turned black and I couldn't see light. Am I dead?

"LU HAN." There it is again. My name being called.

"LU LU."

"HYUNG ARE YOU OKAY?" What? I open my eyes to see Xiumin and Sehun by my side. They both look pale and flustered. It's really hot in the room. I'm completely covered in sweat.

Sehun looks at me wide eyed. "Hyung, you okay?" I cough multiple times. I sniffle.

"I don't know, where am I?" Xiumin pats my head. "We were rehearsing one more time before our concert. And you passed out." 

Lay comes over by my side, "Lu Han open your mouth." I slowly open and he puts a thermometer under my tongue.

"What ith whith thith. I'm not thick." (I meant to say "What is this, I'm not sick.") Lay takes it out of my mouth.

"Damn Lu Han, you have a fever, 37°C (101°F) you need to rest man." I look at the flashing 37 on the thermometer.

"Tell that Youngmin that I can't perform." Lay nods and picks up a phone.

The rest of EXO comes into the waiting room and joins us.

Chen laughs at me and points at me. "Ha, You got sick." He smile turns into a frown, "But seriously are you okay?"

"Jongdae, you're such a troll."  I roll over on the couch and cough again.

I overhear Lay on the phone.

"Youngmin, Lu Han can't perform. Well. But. Listen. Please. He's deathily ill. No. It's a contract."

A contract. That ing contract. I keep thinking about how that contract is my soul on paper. I signed my soul over to the devil. My fingers curl into a fist and hit the couch as I sit up.

"That damn contract ruins everything. If it weren't for that contract I would be resting right now."

Xiumin pats my shoulders, "Lu Han what's wrong." I feel unmanly as tears come to my eyes. 

"Xiumin that contract is binding me to whatever SM says. I can't do this anymore. I don't want to be a slave. I finally understand what Yi Fan meant when he said we were objects."

Sehun taps lightly on my shoulder, "Hyung, is this about your family." My family. I admit I am very homesick right now. However, I can't see them because of the rules.

I push the hands off my shoulders, "No, this is about my humane rights. I want to be Lu Han the manly one in EXO, deer, yo-yo man. I don't want to be Lu- whatever his name is, slave to SM, an object, a puppet."

Lay hangs up and sits next to me, "What do you think is the solution to this Lu Han."

I pause for a moment, "I don't know."

Tao looks at me with puffy eyes, "Leave, break that contract."

"but, tao.."

Lay looks at me with a smile, "No matter what you do, or what you say, you are our brother and we will support you no matter what."

"Yixing, I can't.."

Xiumin and Sehun nod at me, "This is already a bad time
