Foreword

Since the day Jongin was 3 years old he dreamed about fairytales. With the flow of time his dreams became more frequent. Everyone had to listen to his wonderful tales. Adults were impressed by the creative words spoken from the mouth of a 5 years old. They couldn´t believe a boy that age could tell such beautiful stories.
He loved to tell people about his dreams and fantasies. A world full of majestic creatures as unicorns or elves. For him it was his everything.
As he grew older he had to realize one thing, when you´re young people like to hear such stories but with a simple age they don´t want to listen to you anymore. His parents soon got annoyed by his never-ending fairytales and his friends were joking about him and his childish behaviour.
Jongin turned 15 years old. On his birthday his parents spend a lot of time creating the perfect party for a guy in his age. Truth to be spoken every average teenager would kill for a party like this if not everyone. They rented a club for the night and even though they couldn´t drink due to the law they had everything some could wish for. For Jongin it was the night he promised himself he wouldn´t believe in his stupid fairytales anymore. He was too old for this also he had enough of the constant struggling because the bullying of other kids.

3 years later many things had changed in the life of the now blonde haired boy.
His father passed away 2 years ago and they had to find another home. They couldn't afford the cute house they were living in their whole life. His mother found herself a job in a small shop a few blocks away from their home and Jongin tried his best to succeed in school. It wasn´t easy all the time but he had found another hobby. In this horrible time that had the power to dry him out completely he found the needed comfort in his new hobby. Without it he was sure he probably had started to believe in his childish fairytales again.
Funny it was Jongin started to hate everything that included something with fantasy. When girls his age were talking about animation that could be real or fluffy unicorn he had the urge to punch them hard in their stupid faces. He controlled himself and moved on but they made him angry. How could they even dare to say something like this?
Unicorns don´t exist, fairys or whatever they wanted to be alive never ever could be alive in this world! He knew it and he would always tell them how the reality looked. It was exactly how he was treated as a child. Nobody wanted to listen to him anymore and tried to convince him how wrong it was to believe in stuff like this.
Vampires when this word only reached the sensitive ears of the silver blonde boy anger was boiling inside of him.  A inner fight he couldn't win. In the end the anger was stronger and he had to find a way out of it. Thanks to the long afternoons in the classroom where he had to stay after school cause of his fights with other kids he found his precious hobby.
Now it was his everything, dancing. At first he wasn´t good at it. Compared to others he was horrible but he found himself trying really hard to get better. Still it took him some time until it looked so smooth and graceful as he wanted it to be. His mother approved his new hobby and soon he worked even harder on his ability as a dancer.
After all Jongin was more of a dreamer than a realist. His head high above the clouds he rather believed in things far from his reach. He couldn't change this fact and it angered him. Years over the years he tried to change this but he couldn´t. His natural characteristic couldn´t be changed by his pure will. So he was dreaming about becoming a dancer.

The thought alone could make his heart flutter in his chest like crazy. If it could be real he would be the happiest man on this planet.
Somehow he had to remember his childhood where everyone was giving him credits for his fairytales. Right now everyone gave him their support to get even better or to tell him he shouldn´t give up when training got too hard to handle. When he couldn´t move his body anymore or he lost the interest in a complicated dance move.
This time it was different. There was no way he had to be afraid of this. Nobody on this world would tell him to stop dancing because it was childish and he was already too old for this. It was realistic and not everyone could do this. His only great partner in dancing was Taemin a very good friend of Jongin. Except for the other he could really dance well, better than Jongin himself so he was proud to have someone like him as a friend. They could practice together and after the training they would share their evening together walking through the streets of Seoul or eating at different places after they played some games in the arcade.
It was a great time since then and Jongin had to admit he had completely forgotten about his old dreams. Fantasy wasn´t real and he could accept this.
He was a grown up man, well more or less. Tomorrow would be his birthday and then he could finally start to make his dreams come true.
Taemin and him had assigned to the same art college to become dancers in the future. Together they could make it. Friends are strong, going through hard and good times. Whenever one is down the other one is there to make the world full of flowers and sunshine again and vice versa. It´s always like this.
Jongin was excited for what his friends have prepared for his special day tomorrow. Not knowing something awaited him he wouldn´t ever had dreamt of a long time.

But this is another story.

I wanted to start something new. I haven´t forgot about my other stories but I´m having the heaviest exo feels at the moment I can´t help myself. Please give it a try it would make me so happy. And it won´t be that angsty as it sounds.
