Chapter 1: Wait... sorry... but I don't get it...

Chapter 1: (Part II of my thorough review)

Hmmm...this is where it gets hard for me. I totally understand that you have been trying to write up oneshots that's not pages long since some readers find it way too long (but you know I don't mind; as a matter of fact, I love it ^^). That's totally understable, too. However, if the readers aren't just reading for the sake of entertainment, but actually consider the other important components of a story (plot, character development, the lesson or point that the author wants to teach/or is implying in this story, the setting, theme, conflict, , and resolution),hmmm...I'm really sorry, but I found this story missing some of those aspects (or at least meet the standard to which you have been doing a great job on with your other work). Maybe a slightly longer conversation between SJH and JYH may have helped understood what really happened between these two prior to his melancholic state. I don't know. All we're given is that there was a confrontation/confession that occurred, however, SJH didn't respond the way he intended her to. Her reasons? We don't know. And it would have been good to know why she did what she did so we could, at least, comprehend her side of the story in order for us to follow your trail of thought. Hmm...especially leading up to your story's resolution.

I apologise if I sounded a bit critical. I battled with myself whether to express it or just forget it, but I'm gonna give it a try. I really tried to be as constructive, pointing out the good parts and aspects that I, as a reader, thinks needs some more elaborating/explaining or at least, filling in....just for the sake of helping someone like me understand the overall storyline. No hurt feelings intended, I promise.

Anyway, been wanting to read this for a while, but I've only had the time to for it now. Sorry for the delay!

Chapter 1: Oh, a shot on angst, aye? Definitely different from your usual stories, indeed.

Thoughts on this story? Hmmm...oh, this is hard. Well, first and fore mostly, you definitely achieved your goal in trying out angst. By the first two paragraphs (especially when he mentioned about willing to fight for her, but never even given the chance to do it), I already got sensed that angst or agony JYH felt. So well done in that aspect. ^^

As always, you write beautifully; providing exceptional descriptive words that enables your readers to imagine/picture the sequence of events (and in Yong's case: thoughts). Superb job. :)
