It was like any other Sunday afternoon in July. The slightly parted bedroom curtains allowed the morning sun to melt through the window and heat everything in its path. As you awoke from your dreams, you felt the warmth from the sun, but also the comforting warmth from the arm that was carefully draped over your stomach.

Quietly shifting in the bed, you turned toward the man that was lying silently beside you. The small smile that spread across your face couldn't even begin to show the appreciation you had for this precious moment. Moments like these were rare and you couldn't help but become overjoyed when they did indeed occur.

Deciding breakfast in bed would make the moment that much more special and memorable, you tried to peel yourself away from the arm holding you down. Unfortunately, your ninja skills were lacking and the arm tightened its hold.

"Where do you think you are going miss?" Your boyfriend peeked one eye opened and yawned; easily pulling you back down into your previous lying position.

"Ravi, I didn't know you were awake. Sorry I was trying to be as quiet as possible."

You did want to stay in bed with Ravi, your boyfriend now of two years, but of course the day needed to start at some point. You figured it would be easier now that you had the motivation to actually join the land of the living.

"It's fine, but just stay in bed. There's no reason to get up. Let's just sleep the day away." At this, it did not take long for Ravi's head to hit the pillow and his light snoring to make another appearance. Once again you couldn't help but smile, but this time at his absolute adorableness.

"You know Ravi, I think we should go somewhere special today. Make it a day just for the two of us." You were rubbing Ravi's hair slightly and were hoping that it did not make him fall back into a deeper sleep. Fortunately, he was still awake.

"You want to go on a date? Hm, I guess I could get out of bed for you." Without opening his eyes, Ravi let his face be pulled into a smirk. You knew he would do just about anything for you, even if that meant not sleeping any longer.

"Ok, so I'll tell you what. You can stay in bed a little longer but I am going to go take a shower so we can get this day started." With that being said, you finally managed to drag the limp arm taking your body hostage off of you and make your way over to the bathroom, grabbing all the things you would need along the way.

Once you were in the bathroom Ravi immediately took out his cell phone and called his band mates.

"N hyung, _________ wants to go out today, but I already had that thing planned remember? What do I do?" As though he were a criminal waiting for the police to come out of the shadows at any second, Ravi was whispering into his phone while constantly peaking over his shoulder. He didn't want you to hear what he was conspiring.

A little while later, at the creak of a door, Ravi knew he needed to quickly hang up the phone. Thankfully for him, he was given an idea of what to do and was ready to set his plan into motion.

"Ok, I'm done. Whenever you want to go get ready, we can start heading out." You came out of the bathroom all dolled up ready to go for a date, and Ravi was honestly starting to wonder whether disappointing you now would be balanced out by what he planned later; he didn't want to see you upset.

"Uh, hey ___________. Listen N hyung just called and uh, something came up unexpectedly. I need to get to the studio and I'm not sure how long I am going to be there for." He saw your expression fall slightly but you quickly composed yourself.

"That's ok. There's always next time right? You better hurry then so you can make it over there on time."

"You're not mad?" Ravi wasn't surprised really; he knew he probably had the most understanding girlfriend in the entire world. Heck, probably the entire universe.

"Nope I’m not mad. How can I be mad at you for doing your job? No go take a shower and I'll have breakfast ready for you when you get out."

Leaving the room after giving you a quick kiss on the forehead, Ravi went to go take a shower like you suggested and you went into the kitchen to quickly make some eggs for breakfast. By the time you started plating the eggs, a pair of lean arms were snaking their way around your waist.

"Have I ever told you how much I love you _______?"

"Yes you have. And coincidentally you usually say it right after I just finished cooking you a meal. Weird isn't it?" You turned around in Ravi's arms and gave him a little look. He knew you were joking and between the both of you, these jokes were what kept your relationship unique and light hearted.

“You know, I never noticed.” Ravi chuckled and you simply rolled your eyes at the goofball you have the privilege of calling your boyfriend.

Once the two of you were done your little breakfast, Ravi once again apologized for the sudden change of plans and made sure his love for you was evident before walking out the door. As you shut the door after Ravi, you were trying to figure out what you would do to spend the rest of your Sunday. Now that you were out of the bed, you figured you might as well be productive.

Starting with the switching of your outfit, you walked toward your bedroom and decided on a simple pair of black shorts and a loose t-shirt. Quickly changing, you made your way back into the kitchen and finished washing the dishes previously used for breakfast.

“All right, dishes are done and I am actually feeling quite energized. I guess the apartment could be cleaned up a bit…..”

Despite your displeasure for cleaning, your mood was telling you otherwise. Taking out the cleaning supplies you would need, you quickly began making the cozy apartment look sparkly and new all over again.

Hours later and you were still cleaning, only taking a break once to actually feed yourself and regain the energy you exerted. However, an unexpected knock on the door broke you out of your cleaning frenzy and forced your thoughts to guess who the presence might be on the other side.

"I'm not expecting anyone today, and Ravi has a key so he wouldn't knock."

Making your way to the door, you quickly fixed your hair so you would look at least a bit presentable to the other person. When you finally reached the door, you swung it open only to be surprised that the person on the other side was none other than one of Ravi's band mates.

"N? What are you doing here? Shouldn't you be at the studio practicing? Oh no, Ravi didn't get hurt did he?!" You couldn't help your mind from starting to make negative assumptions as to why N would be standing in front of your apartment. Thankfully, his trademark grin and laughter put the negative thoughts to ease.

"Oh no, no. Don't worry _______, Ravi is fine. Actually he told us that you wanted to go out on a date with him but schedules came up. Sorry about that, but we are actually done everything now and were wondering if you would like to come hang out with us at the studio?"

You were wondering why, if everything was done, Ravi didn't come get you himself or actually just come home, but you couldn't help but to agree to go anyway. You missed seeing everyone laughing together and couldn't help but feel like a family whenever you hung out.

"I would love to come over. Come in and give me a second to change all right?"

Letting N close the door behind him, you quickly ran into your bedroom to change out of your house cleaning attire. Settling for a simple look, you pulled on light blue skinny jeans and a fancy tank top. After a few short minutes you rejoined N in the living room, curious yet excited to see everyone after a while of not being able to.

Once arrived at the building where all the dance and vocal magic took place, you and N made your way to the specific studio that the boys always rehearsed in.

"Oh hey, ________. I uh, forgot something in the van. I'm just um, going to go get it ok? You go on in without me."

You were once again confused at the antics N presented. Nevertheless your excitement easily overpowered your confusion and you happily entered the studio. It seemed though that confusion would not let go of your mind that easily as, once again, upon entering the studio that single emotion was the only one evident.

"Ok, N said everyone wanted to hang out since they were done practicing. Where is everyone then? I've never seen the studio empty before."

You decided to call out into the vacant room, "Hello? Ravi? Guys? Anyone here?"

With a lack of response from something other than the constant  buzz of the air conditioner, you started turning your back to the room in order to find N and ask him what exactly his plans where when he brought you here. However, the promise of another presence in the room that was introduced by soft music brought your attention back inside and you started walking into the middle of the room.

You heard the lyrics to Vixx's Love Letter before seeing the person that came with the music. Once you decided to look up, the sight was certainly not what you were expecting when coming here with N. There in front of you stood Ravi, dressed nicely in a black suit holding the iPod playing the one love song that you kept dearly in your heart. It was inevitable that tears started streaming down your face despite not knowing what exactly was going on.

As you continued to practice being a statue, Ravi came closer to you and started fading the music so what he would say next could be heard.

"_______, my love. I want to confess something to you today, something that you already know but I can never say it enough times. I love you. I love you. I love you, with all my heart and more. There isn't a day that goes by where I'm not constantly thinking about you and everything you do that makes me smile. Your presence is intoxicating and everything about you lights up my world. There are truly not enough words that can express the amount of love that I hold for you, but I hope this will show you that I mean everything I say. ________, will you marry me?"

As Ravi ended his little speech, he slowly sank down onto one knee and gracefully pulled a small velvet box out of his jacket pocket. As he opened the box and allowed the diamond ring to sparkle, he made eye contact with you and waited patiently as your brain tried to quickly come to terms with everything that happened so quickly.

Thankfully, when your brain did finally catch up to reality, it didn't take long for an answer to shoot out of your mouth.

"Yes, absolutely yes!! A hundred times yes!" Crying, laughing and being simply overjoyed, you threw your arms around Ravi, momentarily forgetting about the tiny but beautiful ring. Ravi however did not forget and quickly untangled your arms from his neck. He swiftly put the ring on your finger and you both admired how perfectly it fit.

Giving the ring and your finger a quick kiss Ravi managed to grab your attention and place it back on him, "How about we go somewhere special now _________? Somewhere for just the two of us?"

At this point, Ravi could have said anything and you would have readily agreed with it. So without further delay the two of you went out to a special secluded place to celebrate the new beginning that both of you were eagerly looking forward to.
