One of SM's well–received love lines, fittingly dubbed 'Layhan' amongst the fans, Lay and Luhan of EXO are nearing their three month anniversary, being one of the longer lasting couples to survive in the entertainment scene when compared to other company couples. However, recent rumours say that the pair might not even make it to another week.

Updated fan accounts from a recent fan meeting after SMTown Live World Tour IV in Shanghai, China, report the couple to be ever affectionate as always, with Lay even going to the extent of professing that he would always be his significant other's biggest fan, much earning the jealousy of onlooking EXO–Ls. Although major official Chinese fansites say otherwise. Hot gossip among Baidu's most popular EXO related forums dictates that Lay is gradually losing his interest in Luhan on account of his impulsive child–like nature, despite being the eldest in the relationship, and the increasing absence of ual intimacy between the two as of late.

In addition, the latest fancam uploaded by IsSing Garden, Lay's largest Chinese fansite, shows EXO–M's main dancer engaged with a warmhearted conversation with Red Velvet's main vocalist, Wendy, on a casual walk. A few minutes into the footage revealed that the male used to harbour feelings for Wendy prior to her relationship with fellow EXO member, Tao, being confirmed by the SM Entertainment and possibly before he entered a relationship with Luhan, through a somewhat reluctant confession. The video also makes it known that both were well aware about how Wendy felt about the other. However, this itself could be blown out of proportion amongst the fans but given the string of scandals and in–house drama between SM idols, anything could happen.

A growing opinion that has divided the EXO fandom is that loving Luhan has become more of an obligation for Lay more than ever with both sides having justifiable evidence. Where will you take your stance?
