Choi Seohee. Lost in the human world for three months, until her seventeenth birthday, when she is finally given the chance to remember about the Assassin she is destined to become. But little does she know that the task will interfere with her past and threaten her current social life... And what happens when there’s actually more to her past than she’s initially told? Foreword
The night was dark, and the rain and wind pelted against her tearstained cheeks. The lashing of lightning lit the alleyways, just enough for the assassin to grasp a reflection of the girl she no longer recognised in the rippling puddle that had formed at her feet. From there, she shifted her gaze to the blade that shook in her hands and down to the bodies slain, now stretched lifeless across the pavement. She cussed to herself. At that point, the truth could no longer be denied. She was becoming the monster that she had anticipated, and it was too late to turn back...
